Computer can not delete pictures in the camera. Computer can delete pictures in the computer. Camera can delete all pictures or format the internal memory?
Loading pictures to where? are you trying to playback picture in camera saved in memory card or transferring them to PC?

put your camera mode in t "P" setting then go to menu & you should see color or pictue options to switch the color back to color....i have a cybershot dsc-w55 idk what u have but try that .... GOOD LUCK !
Symptoms shows its start-up of CCDImager problem in DSC-F717 and in few days, CCDImager will not give picture data to camera circuit.
CCDImager is part which converts image in electronic signal and that signal / data goes to camera circuit for further process.
Sony will repair CCDImager problem in DSC-F717 free of cost.
