Do you hear a click sound as the compressor shuts down? If so that is the clixon (heat sensitive circuit breaker) that is opening and shutting down the compressor when it overheats. You have not had the AC filled with refrigerant so overfilling the unit cannot be an issue.
And if it is not overfilled overheating is caused by excessive current going into the motor which could indicate a problem with the motor windings..
OR, If the thermostat is faulty it could be prematurely shutting down the compressor. If you jump (bypass) the therm and unit does not shut off then you have found the culprit.
My central AC unit decided to stop on the hottest day of the year. It would start and run normally for a few minutes and then the blower would shut off. After checking the breakers, thermostat and overflow shut off (did not have one) I saw something about a blower motor capacitor. This was easy to get to and replace and my last hope before waiting for someone to come fix it. The capacitor cost $4.04 with tax and had my AC working again. Needless to say I was beyond happy. I hope this can help others with a similar problem.
this appears to be a stuck relay or contactor . follow the wire back from the fan and locate the contactor or relay slp it and see it it comes lose. ?? this does not mean it will solve the problem as you will still have to repalce any part that is causing it.. Hope this helps let me know Jon
135/330 psig is obviously r410a freon, and good pressures, so I'd rule out a freon/circulation issue, unless these pressures change dramatically after 2 mins of run time. You'll need to make sure you're not loosing line voltage, as Thomas suggested. If that's good, the you'll need to monitor all low voltage safeties and relays without bypassing ANYTHING, unless you're skilled at troubleshooting, and can repair what you may break.
the system may have a bad condenser fan motor or it is not charged right with freon and it is over heating if the fan stays runing and it is just shuting off the compressor try to clean the coills on the ac system with water and wash them good
Please check outdoor unit. Compressor or fan motor getting high amps due to overheat. Clean condenser coil. If still problem, replace running capacitor. If out door fan less rpm replace fan capacitor. In some unit 2 in 1 capacitor is there. So replace one capacitor will rectify fan and compressor problem. Thanks. Helpful?
Is it charging? If it isn't then try a different charger but reopen it and clean it with a soft brush and try again otherwise it looks like you've a PSU fault there and you have either disconnected or caused static damage to the system.
First of all, clean your outside coils so that you are assured of good cooling air. The compressors have an overtemp device that is usually internal to protect them against heat. If you have an air compressor use it to blow out the coils good. If the compressor will start, the capacitor is good so it sounds like a cooling problem with the compressor
