The serial number is located on the inside of the refrigerator section, on the right side of the first vegetable bin on the panel.
Oh my this was such a huge help. My Bosh has been on a sabbatical for almost 2 years. Thought it was a total junker. After reading this we now have lights, water, and Ice. Thank you so much.

You can get the manual here. on page 16 it tells you how to take off savagemode.
Sabbatical mode settings:
– Accoustic signal is switched off.
– Super cool or Super freezing
functions are ended (if activated).
– The interior illumination is
switched off.
– The light on the display panel is
reduced to basic lighting.
– Buttons are locked (except
“options” and “+” buttons).
Switching on and off:
̨ Simultaneously press “options”
and “+” buttons for 5 seconds
When switched on, [Sabbath] is
indicated on the display panel.
