I'm getting a "replace the transfer roller" message even though the transfer roller was only a few hours old. I replaced it with a new one, same message. Got another new one, same message followed by messages asking me to replace all the toner cartridges and then an NVRAM failure message. I've reseated all consummables, restarted, unplugged and restarted, all to no avail. I'm out of warranty and fear the service call would cost more than a new printer...
Cycle power, try cleaning the CTD (ADC) sensor and toner full sensor. This is what Xerox has to say about the NVRAM failure: On the front panel, press the key labeled i to view information about the error. Record the error code number. Turn off the printer. Reseat the fuser. Reseat the imaging unit. Reseat the toner cartridges. Turn on the printer. If the error continues to be displayed contact service. To be on the safe side you can follow the instructions here on the procedure to replace the transfer roler: http://office.support.xerox.com/SRVS/cgi-bin/webcgi.cgi Good luck
