How to uninstall the search.conduit of Google Chrome?

Hi,

For google chrome browser :
1. Go to Settings >> Extensions >> disable uTorrentControl_v2 extension.
2. Go to Settings >> On startup >> remove conduit settings
3. Go to Settings >> Search >> manage search engine >> set it to google.com and remove conduit's entry if any.

FileHippo is safe, but maby some apps are just incompatible. Try doing this:

Click on Run Now and then follow the instructions, remember to choose your problem as uninstalling not installing ;).

1. First of all install a good Internet Security and scan.
2. If you are using a Google Chrome, Install "adblock" plugin.

3. Now Paste and Go "chrome://extensions/" in your Chrome. Disable and delete all Extensions which you don't need.
4. In settings select "Manage Search Engines". Make Google to default and delete rest.
5. In settings go to "On startup" and check the startup pages. Delete them.
6. Uninstall the applications from your Control Panel from Publisher "Conduit Inc."
7. Restart the Computer Now.

Remove the toolbar
The Conduit Toolbar is a custom search toolbar that allows you to search for content such as pictures, videos, research and services on the Internet. A customized Conduit Toolbar can be branded with a business logo and include your favorite links and search engines. If you do not use it, removing a customized Conduit Toolbar is like removing any other program through the Windows operating system.

Click "Start" and select "Control Panel." Click the "Uninstall a Program" link under the Programs section. Select "Conduit Toolbar" from the list of currently installed programs, and click "Uninstall." Click "Yes" to confirm your choice. If you are using Mozilla Firefox, click the "Firefox" menu, select "Add-Ons" and choose the "Extensions" tab. Click "Conduit Toolbar" and select "Remove." Restart your Web browser.

If search.conduit.com pages are opening up each time you start up Chrome, check in Wrench > Settings > On Startup > next to the radio button for Open a specific page or set of pages, click on Set pages > remove any unwanted URLs by hovering over the URL until you see an "X" appear to the right side of the URL.

If all searches that you perform in the omnibox is returning with results from search.conduit.com instead of your preferred search engine, check in Wrench > Settings > Search > Manage search engines > check the list of Default search engines, Other search engines, and Search engines added by extensions, and remove suspicious entries that you are not familiar with. Depending on your extensions, you may not see the last section for Search engines added by extensions.

If search.conduit.com is opening up when you click on the Home button, check in Wrench > Settings > Appearance > select the Show Home button checkbox > check if the URL that appears below it references search.conduit.com.


Also try to use System utility tool Reginout that will clean system and will remove unwanted registry entries of conduit.

Conduit is malware. Get rid of it first, and reboot. Start by downloading the free version of Malwarebytes (Anti-Malware) from https://www.malwarebytes.com/ install it and run it - that takes an hour or more. It should locate and deal with malware like Conduit in your computer. Then reboot and try again.
