Did you first ask acer.com if the have drivers. for w7
no, then you failed, step1,
leaping and failing not reading first or even asking and acer.
forum. we are not acer.
so lets do that now, late.
w7 32bit or 64bit you failed to say and MATTERS>

Acer Aspire 4520 Notebook PC
4520 not 4520G
the show no wireless driver for w7, only vista. and older XP

2008/12/04 Version: 7.3.1.109 Atheros
so try force vista driver to w7 ?
but the 64bit PC new vista
had 2 choices of wifi. (above OR)

2008/12/04 Version: 4.100.15.5 Vendor:Broadcom

what a savvy tech does is first scan the pc to find out what chip set he has for wifi. then load the correct one.
to force vista on to w7 we get the setup file from acer. see link.
then right click it and click compatibility mode,
vista to w7, ok?
there is no guarantee this works, (MS told you that if you asked)
next time get all drivers first
put them all in a folder called say DRIVER
then when it fails load them.
https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/14?b=1

the other poster here fails to know the internet is dead.
so with that dead you will never get driver updates that way.
what you can do and was step one for any w7 install
is to connect the PC with a cat5/6 ethernet cable to the router
then more drivers self load at install, a FACT.
what is best is get ethernet working first
then get wifi last.

? ok?
in fact ethernet will get wifi working in many cases.
called magic MS plug and play.
however my w7 box here, will not like Realtek 8111c chips Ethernet but w10 does, so I force fed it, ask.
or get it at acer.com first
next time tell if 32bit or 64bit and save me 1/2 the typing, ok?

Right click on the wireless internet icon on the lower right of your screen. Then left click Troubleshoot problems.

If that doesn't work, go to Device manager, network adapters, find your wireless adapter then right click on it and then select uninstall device. Restart the computer and it will find the port & reinstall it for you.

SOURCE: Wireless connection slow

Same problem. RESOLVED it by going to device manager (hold the Windows Logo key near the space bar and hit PAUSE) Click hardware tab, and then device manager. click the plus next to network adapters to expand it, then right click the atheros wireless connection and go to properties. Click advanced, then find the power save mode. click it, then chose turn off on the right.

did this and my wireless is working normal again. hope this helps.

Have you run a hard drive testing program? I would think that it is likely that the hard drive has gone bad

If you get a 'Limited connectivity" on you wirelessconnection on your laptop, it means that the wireless card on your laptopprobably did not get an IP address from the wireless router.

My computer will not connect to the internet when I hook up to the Linksys wrt150n I don,t understand It because it use to work this is about to drive up the wall I have tried resetting the router but it...

If you can connect to the Internet using the LAN cable then your Internet connection is OK.
If you are trying to connect to the Internet using the wireless connection, then your problem is the wireless settings in either the Linksys or the wireless card in your computer.
First check the wireless settings in the Linksys, ie. the SSID and encryption key.
Second check the wireless settings in the computer's wireless card, this must match the route's wireless settings. If it matched then do a Repair connection. this will get the Linksys to issue a new IP address to the wireless card.computer.
If the Linksys wireless settings were changed then configure the wireless card in the computer with these new settings.

Unable to use wireless feature on second computer on the network

The second computer's wireless card may not have the latest wireless card driver installed or it is not enabled and working. Check Device manager to see if is is working and enabled. I suggest you install the latest wireless card driver.
Next check the wireless card configuration, it needs to have the wireless router's settings, ie SSID and encryption etc.

Wireless switch not working

Sometimes when you bootup and the error message = "wireless connection has limited or no connection", or has a red X on the wireless icon, it is because the router has not issued an IP address to the wireless card. Right click on the wireless connection and then click Repair.
If this doesn't work then reboot the router then the laptop, this should fix the problem

My Wireless internet card don't work

i think you are a little confused, your laptop may have a wireless card internally, but you need a wireless broadband or cable router for the wireless adapter to pick up a signal.

A fax modem cannot be wireless and cannot be broadband as you cannot fax using a broadband connection.

Assuming you have a broadband connection you will need a wireless modem/ router or roter connected to a broadband modem, not a standard 56k dialup modem as they aren't wireless or broadband.
