Here's what I discovered about my Keurig B60: The water reservoir has a valve in a nipple on the bottom that slides into a clear plastic fitting within the base of the unit. Water from the reservoir is supposed to pass through the fitting and into the pump, which is also in the base. Over time, hard water deposits can build up on the nipple or the mating fitting (or both) such that a good seal is not made when the reservoir is in place and water slowly leaks out the bottom. To fix this, I removed the five screws on the bottom of the Keurig and then removed the two screws which hold the fitting in place. I gently cleaned both the clear plastic fitting and the nipple in the bottom of the reservoir with white vinegar. After rinsing both with clean water and drying both, I applied a small amount of silicon faucet grease (available at any hardware store) to both parts. I haven't had any more leaks since, although I assume I will have to repeat this operation periodically.

I love the kitchenaid coffee pot. after about 6 months, the water pours out of the bottom of the reservoir when filling it. So, I buy another one. Then after about 6 months, it happens again.

Leaking water from bottom of unit during brewing:
  • Verify that the water is leaking from the bottom of the coffee maker and not just running down the back during filling and pooling underneath. (Look under coffee maker - without lifting - to see if water droplets are hanging from bottom of unit)
Resolution:

If verified that water is leaking from bottom of coffee maker Contact Us for further assistance.

Why does the water I put in the maker run out the bottom

Sounds like it has a leak in the tank or the hose. Unplug the coffee maker and turn it over. See if you can remove the bottom cover. Make sure the coffee maker has not been on and is cool to the touch!
Underneath will be a tube and heating element. Make sure the tube is connected to the water reservoir and that there are no holes or cracks in anything. It could be that someone dropped it and cracked the plastic somewhere.

Leaking underneath

You are not alone having the water leak in your SS-700. For better understanding what caused that leak please read the review on Cuisinart SS-700:

When my bunn 3 burner coffee maker is idle and off, water leaks from the top and over the weekend it leaves a puddle on the floor. What causes this?

Sounds like the the thermostat is boiling the water, try turning down the thermostat if that does not work, it might need to be replaced.

Won't brew

water puddling underneath machine indicates a broken boiler.

Machine needs to be sent in to have the boiler replaced.

Do not continue to use the machine because the seal on the boiler which is broke can end up splashing the electronic board and rendering your machine a paper weight.

Bunn coffee maker leaking from underneath the bottom

Please get the model and the date code from the bottom of the machine and contact customer serivce. Depending on the date code, there might be a seal kit available or the machine can be replaced at no cost if 3 years old or less. If it is over 3 years old and the seal kit isn't available, the machine will be replaced at a reduced price.

Leaking cuisinart grind and brew

Our Cuisinart grind and brew was leaving a puddle under it after making a pot of coffee. I called Cuisinart this week and it turns out the handle of the carafe has to be lined up in the middle of the opening for the carafe. It will be under the word Cuisinart, in the middle.

We have now made several pots with NO residual puddle of water or coffee. It also seems to be making the pots quicker.

Before trying this I had run 2 pots of water with 1/2 cup white vinegar in it also. But it still puddled until we lined up the carafe as noted above.
