Got a Naite. Phone does not start. when i press the on/ off button, the phone vibrates (which i believe is normal) and the screen flickers. Nothing beyond that. It began with me trying to insert a new sim that I had purchased. Followed the standard procedure but now the phone does not start irrespective of the sim. Tried removing the memory card. Charged my cell overnight as well. Battery life was quite good before this happened. Didn't have to charge my cell more than twice a week with reasonable usage. Request help.

sounds your handset needs a flash / software upgrade. get setool3 to fix it or take to repair shop and hand it in for a sw upgrade.

Is this a new phone? If so check that you've inserted the SIM correctly and it's not SIMlocked to another network

If it's worked before remove the SIM and GENTLY clean the contacts on the phone and the SIM with a pencil eraser.

well... I just reinstalled the firmware... with the update downloadable program... and it worked but I don't know for how long

yes you need to repair,a circuit short in the hard ware board problem.
