Hey im having a problem, basically all im trying to do it make it so my heat lamp turns on only at night, so, i set my time to the correct time right now and then i pressed prg, set the days (everyday) and then i set it 1on for 8:00am and 1off for 11:00pm, then i pressed clk to set it. Now i assume that means my blue sockets should turn on between 11:00pm-8:00am right? so i set my prg to AUTO and now when i plug my lamp into the blue sockets my lamp is on, and my yellow sockets are off! (mind you, its 5:40 pm right now) it seems like they are switched around or am i doing something wrong?? please help this is giving me a headache.

1) There is no repair for defective timer.
According to manual, under Initial Timer Operation: yellow outlet is ON at 4:00 pm.
Make sure Mode button is not set to OFF.

2) Scheduling timer: Think about the zilla timer this way:
Day is 12 hours and night is 12 hours.
Your total schedule is only 9 hours, but it overlaps day and night.

If timer 'night' starts at 6pm and ends at 6am, then your programming overlaps day and night.
If timer 'night' starts at 12midnight and ends at 12noon, then your programming still overlaps day and night.

3) To solve zilla time problem, set current time differently.
4) Or buy GE or Utilitec 24-hour programmable power strip

I have a 1994 silverado, The Heat/ac controls work but the control panel only lights up occasionally. I replace the control unit when the problem started and nothing changed.

If you have already replaced the control unit but the issue still persists, the problem may lie with faulty wiring or loose connections. It's possible that a wire is not making proper contact, which could cause the issue where the control panel only lights up occasionally. You may want to check the wiring and connections to see if there are any loose or damaged wires that need to be repaired or replaced. It's also possible that there is an issue with a fuse related to the control panel's lighting. Check to ensure that all the fuses in the fuse box are functioning correctly, and replace any that have burnt out. If you are not comfortable working on electrical systems, it's best to take your truck to a professional mechanic who can diagnose and fix the issue correctly.

How o set timing on my 88 fxr timing without a timing light?

A correct thickness of feeler blade is more satisfactory than a book of matches to set the contact breaker.
Checking and adjusting the static timing of a basic contact breaker ignition system is fairly straightforward though not easy to describe. It can be set by eye but using a test lamp or voltmeter (connected between ground and coil CB) is more accurate.
Begin by noting the normal direction of rotation of the distributor and then locate the correct timing mark on the crankshaft pulley or flywheel. Turn the engine backwards past the mark and then forward to align the marks. The distributor body is then rotated in the appropriate direction to the point where the test lamp just lights (ignition on).
Retighten the distributor. Turn the crankshaft backwards again and then forward until the test lamp just lights. If the timing marks are not aligned, repeat the adjustment until you succeed...

I hope I am stating my problem clearly: I just purchased a Woods 59377 indoor timer that I'm about ready to return to the place I purchased it because of the manual override button. What I didn't...

I have 59377 timer in my office.

What job do want the timer to do?
It sounds like you want a programmable timer at night, and simple on-off switch at day.
Add a comment if answer below misses the mark.

YES, the manual override can be used as on-off switch.
Press manual override until Manual ON or Manual OFF display.

The manual override button has 4 states:
Auto ON, turns lamp ON immediately and programming resumes at next set time.
Auto OFF, turns lamp OFF immediately and programming resumes at next set time.
Manual ON to choose permanent ON.
Manual OFF to choose permanently OFF.

My power light is flashing red three times on and off. sony kds-60a2000 is the model, what do i need to do?

The 3 blink code indicates that the lamp door is not secure. If you havent removed the door then its probably the switch for lamp door sensor.

I would remove the lamp door and then reinstall it. Do this with the set unplugged then plug it back in and check operation.. Basically sometimes the lamp door switches become dirty and by removing and reinstalling the door it usually corrects the problem..

If this doesnt work then you will need to either have the set checked out by a tv technician or you can try replacing the switch yourself. But as I said normally just removing and reinstalling corrects the problem.. Good Luck!

hey there it sounds like the problem is coming from your ballast board, the ballast board is the power source to the lamp. with time this part starts to wear out and get weak your old lamp is already burning out there for it does not need that much voltage to turn on but the new lamp has not been worn out or used there for it needs the ballast to be working at 100%

hope this solution helps

I purchased a lampmaster #38439 timer and I need to know how to set it, to turn on and off the lamp.

it shoudl have had instructions with it in the box

Find the arrow on the face and rotate the dial to the arrow to set the correct time. Then with a suitable instrument or long finger nails raise the divisions on the rotating wheell to the TURN OFF TIMES the ones left are thye intervals of actual live time. Each segment is 15 minutes so one down 1 up is 15 minutes of ;lighted time and so on for 24 hrs the wheel is divided into day and night time by color 12 hrs of darkness and 12 hours of daylight time
