If your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers if you don't have a disk with the sound drivers you have to download them

1st You download Webcam Driver.
I accidentally uninstalled Dolby Digital audio on my Acer laptop How can I get it back?
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

There does'nt appear to be a driver for it on Acer's website, but there is a webcam application Here:Acer
and there is an auto hardware detect application there as well that might help.

Go to control panel and click on SOUNDS and then click on PLAYBACK and choose the Speakers or Headset and whichever on you choose make it the DEFAULT by clicking on DEFAULT.

Cannot enable my acer aspire one notebook

i have accidentally hit the enable/disable switch without knowing it.. on the 8.9" screen model, it is located near the right speaker. i'm sure you have checked this, but sometimes we miss the easiest things. :o) have you deleted any files recently that might have had drivers in it?

Deleted audio recording device on my acer aspire 5050

If you still have the original disks that came with the computer one of them should be labeled for device drivers and you should be able to put that in your optical drive (CD or DVD reader) and reinstall the drivers for your audio recording device. If you do not have that disk you can go to the Acer web site and down load the driver for the audio device, or try this website: http://drivers.softpedia.com/downloadTag/Acer+Aspire5050
just make sure you choose the correct operating system (Vista or XP)

I NEED A DIAGRAM TO CONECT SPEAKERS TO PC

I'm afraid that the way the sound system is set up in microsoft control panel, you have to chose between external speakers on or the the built-in speakers on. check there under sound, but I don't think that there is an option to have both on
