I have a 55 inch Pioneer Projection big screen TV. It needs to get moved down stairs --- but it has to go around a corner. The last time it was moved in, it was really tough. I was wondering if it was "safe" to take the back apart from the front and move both pieces independently - then reassemble it down stairs. I know a lot of things can go wrong...but I think it's a better choice than turning it on it's side like my husband wants to do.
Hi do this as last option! there is 30,000v inside the tv!! you can die before you even think about it the only way to do soo is unplug the T.V from the wall for a week at least (so the volt will dissolves) you can turn the tv on its side you will have a problem if it will get a slap or will fall in my opinion just take on its side....but its your decision JUST BE CAREFUL PLEASE!!! good luck
