Must go into the tv Menu go to OPTION go down and pick VARIABLE setting for output for extrenal speaker system.It should not setup on Menu OPTION setting on FIX setting,tv will used tv speakers system only.

Not if watching through an internet enable TV via the Netflix app on the TV.. Otherwise if you are using an external device that has Netflix running on it, you will need to connect it to the TV.
On these devices, the Netflix App can be accessed via VIERA Connect or the Netflix button on your remote control. If your Panasonic Smart Device does not have the Netflix App, it can be downloaded onto any internet connected external device (smartphone, tablet, gaming console).
