  • Hi, I can help.
  • As I look at the manufacturer specs and recommendations this amp is not brigable. I figure I would tell you so you did not ruin it.
  • When you bridge you turn 2 channels into 1 channel. This is already a 1 channel amp. Bridging would ruin that amp quick.

  • If you have any comments please feel free to leave them here.
  • Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa.

Regards, Tony

Wiring configuration

Ryan Sandy to better answer your question. Please clarify your question.

If you are asking how many ohm this subs has...then the answer is that the Rockford Fosgate Punch HX2 RFD1215 is a dual 4 ohm sub. One can be wired down to 2 ohm or up to 8 ohm. Heres a link that will show a diagram on how to do that:
http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=1&I=42#results
If you have two of these subs you can wire them down to 1 ohm or 4 ohm. Here is a link that illustrates how to do so: http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=42#results

How do u bridge the rockford fosgate p325.1?

Hello... sorry you are having a problem. If you are running the 325.1, that amplifier is strictly a mono-block amplifier (1 channel) so it is not possible to bridge it. There are 2 speaker connections on the amp but both positives and negatives are connected on the circuit board in the amp. Hope this helps. Good luck with your venture.

Base only comes out when I press on subs

my friend it sounds like you have a seperated voice coil, you can try to superglue the sub back to the voice coil, recone it, or just replace the whole sub.

I need to wire up a rockford fosgate punch hx2 12" subwoofer to a 500 watt single channel amp and i need to know how to wire the dual voice coil properly ??

Wire it in a series. One wire from amp positive to one positive speaker terminal. One wire from amp negative to negative speaker terminal. This should leave one positive and one negative termianl on the sub. Use one additonal wire to connect these two, this wire should not be connected to anything else other than the two remaining terminals. This will allow you to have the music up louder with higher amp settings without having to worry about blowing the speaker as easily.

Over excursion making flapping noise

try taking the sub out of your box its in and watch the coil and then push the cone in and let loose try that a few times and if the coil moves then your sub is no good

I have a rockford fosgate 550 that the fuse blows

Short inside one of the transistors. This requires very good soldring skills and electrical know-how, and some thermal paste to go between the heat-sink and the transistor. Unfortunatly this is not a cheap repair, probably cost around 100 dollars.

How to bridge a punch 3001 car amp

You can't bridge this amp as it is a mono single channel amp. 2 ohms is the lowest load that can be applied for 300WRMS.
