The drain filter is block and needs to be cleaned or the drain pump is broken. Unplug the machine or disconnect power then remove the three screws attaching the bottom of the lower front access panel and pull the panel down and off. Once the panel is off, you'll find the drain filter attached to the drain pump.

Place a container or a piece of towel underneath the filter to catch spillage. You may need to drain the water from the machine by putting the end of the drain hose over a container on the floor. Position the container as low as possible to extract as much water. Remove the filter by turning the knob counterclockwise and clean it.

Also take a moment to inspect the drain pump impeller by reaching it in with your finger and turning it. The impeller should turn freely. Otherwise, replace the drain pump.

My washer gives me an F 02 code after the wash cycle and before the rinse and spin cycle. I have to reset it and then run the rinse/spin cycle separately.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.

* Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.

* Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.

* Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects. Very Impoertant

* If the above does not correct the problem, replace the pump.

Thank you !!

Our Model WFMC640SUC front load washing machine is giving us the "suds or pump is blocked" message at the end of a cycle. We cleaned out the hoses but it still will not drain, evenn if just on...

Hook up all of the hose to your washer, get a shop vac and see if you can **** out the water with the shop vac. If you can all of the hoses are clear and your drain pump is probably defective and will need to be replaced. To verify this check to see if the drain pump is getting power in the drain cycle. You should be able to access the wiring from the back panel.

What do I do when there is no suction. My central vac just stopped picking up and though I emptied the machine and replaced the filter there continues to be no suction.

1. If it's an older model, the hose is likely well worn and probably has leaks at each end where it attaches to the handle and connector at the other end. If this is the case, a new hose is needed.
2. A blockage in the hose. To check the hose for blockages, detach both ends and drop a coin down one end. Lift the hose a little at a time so coin drops out the other end. If it doesn't, there's a clog. Please don't try to take it apart to remove the clog. If you can't get it out, take it to a reputable vacuum repair shop and let them.
best way to clear an obstruction is to blow it out by attaching the wall end to the exhaust of a shop vacuum, or using an air compressor.
You can try holding the wand end of the hose directly to the CV in port and turning the machine on. This provides essentially the same action as the previous method.
If neither of these work, try a combination of the two. Or using a shop vac, hold the wall end to the exhaust of the vacuum and the wand end to the in port of the shop vac. Turn shop vac on and the obstruction should come out.
Borrow a good strong shop vacuum if you need to.
If these methods fail, take it to an authorized Aerus Electrolux store and have the service tech try to clear it. Care must always be taken when trying to clear an obstuction with a long object, especially if it's pointed. I've seen many hoses that have shorted out and even caught fire due to the wiring accidentally being "nicked

3. Is there suction at the end of the hose, or is it just at the power nozzle there's none. If the hose has good suction, check the power nozzle airway. If it's blocked it can easily be cleared by pushing the clog back toward the brush with the handle of a wooden spoon, or other similar object.

I get an E 13 message. I've detached the drain hose but it was clear. Can't open door or try running any other program. I have a small rug in the washer and I fear it's the cause of the trouble. Please...

To remove the drain pump access cover, insert a pointed object (or tool) into the hole, push in to release the latch and rotate the cover clockwise.

If you have a wet dry shop vac attach it to the end of the drain hose to remove any water.

Then remove the drain pump plug and clear out the area keep the shop vac handy as water will still come out of the plug.

Once this is clear you machine will start.

There is also a white plastic zip tie like cord you can pull in order to open the door

CLOGGED AIR DRYER

I use my shop vac. Feed the hose in to the line (disconnected from the rear of the dryer). Keep working it back and forth until the line comes clean. Also feed the vac line in from the outside dryer vent. I also use it to clean out the back of the dryer where the vent connects as well as the lint trap.
If its real heavey stuff you may need to clean the vac a few times or unplug the vac hose.

MY SHOP VAC STOPPED WORKING AFTER USING IT FOR A WHILE

If by stopped working you mean that it no longer has any suction, then check the hose for a clog and also clean all the filters.

If you mean that it literally stopped running, then the most common cause is a faulty switch. If the machine is still under warranty, contact Shop Vac for a replacement motor, Switches for shop vacs are not available, only replacement motors. If the machine is not under warranty you can either replace the motor or the whole machine.
