Most modern machines have an out of balance detector to prevent the machine being damaged with a badly balanced load.
with a single item in drum, load will not balance and out of balance detector comes into action and prevents spin

Samsung WA13G7Q1 machine runs all cycles until it comes to the spin cycle then the machine stops. what could be the cause of this?

If all the water has drained the most common fault is the brake motor which releases the drum so it is free to turn, with the back off and a torch you should be able to see the lever and cable being retracted id nothing happens on spin thatd your problem

Bosch washing machine shows E32 at end of cycle and isn't spinning

This error E32 is not such a problem.
It means that the system, responsible for protection against unevenly distributed laundry in the drum, has triggered. All you need to do is open the door, put large and small things evenly, and then additionally run a new spin cycle. Read the article: How to load things into the drum.

Severe vibration/noise during spin cycle. What could the problem be and how do I fix it?

if the machine was run severely out of balance (rugs) you'll need to get a look in the back up near the top with a good flashlight , this involves unhooking power and hoses and turning it around , you may have broken a drum suspension link , this device (three) keeps the drum from contacting the shell , if its true and its allowed to run this way you will brake off water hoses on bottom of drum and water will runout on floor

Drum will not spin on any cycle.bosch nexxt 300.

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Bosch-Parts/Washer-Parts/Model-WFMC2201UC13/1794/0153200/50033052/00003?blt=06&prst=&shdMod= If the drum is not turning on any cycle then I would suspect either the belt - Item 308; or the motor - Item 327.

If you are saying that it doesn't go into the spin cycle (but the drum turns in other settings) then I would suspect the control board - Item 333

The washer won't spin. I have one light blanket in the machine and it won't spin. I turned the machine to a regular wash cycle to see if the drum would spin and it did. When I turn in back to the spin...

Hello, Welcome to FixYa. What I'm going to tell you can be validated with the Bosch owners manual so I suggest you check into it. The reason the Bosch will not spin with just a single item (regardless of weight) is it isn't designed not to. If you add a similar garment of equal or similar mass it will spin. These units rely on weight differential to determine balance...if one side of the basket has too great a difference from the other, the dyno on the motor will not allow it to spin. Thank you for choosing FixYa today and good luck. Please let me know how it goes or if I can assist you in any manner going forward. Regards, Macmarkus :)

Overload affected performance. Even when only got 1 item in machine. Makes lots noise when spinning and inner large plastic seal looks like something caught on it and shredded some of plastic.

this fault can be caused by the drum halves becoming tight .they move together due to limescale deposits between the drum spiders. the noise is most likely a failing drum bearing
if the plastic seal is damaged then it will need a new drum assembly
they are no longer available from dyson due to supply problems
you may be able to get another machine from ebay and fix yours using parts from each machine to make one good one

Fills with water then does not rotate, also does not spin

Check for large items of clothes being tangled if the Bosch washing machine doesn't spin. The weight could not be evenly distributed in the drum and the spin cycle will have been disabled to prevent damage to the clothes..

Load the drum with large and small clothes together and run the entire washing cycle and spin cycle again.

Add more powder and run the entire washing and spin cycle again if you haven't found tangled large items, but the spin cycle still failed. This indicates the amount of cloths was too small.

Add 1 tablespoon of fabric softener to 1 pint of water and pour it into the main detergent dispenser if there's no tangling and the load was a normal size. The cause would have been excessive suds because of too much, or the wrong kind, of detergent. Use HE (High Efficiency) detergent in Bosch washing machines.

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
