When i try to open the inbox of my razr v3 the phone freezes and wont let me do anything but press the hang up button and return to the home screen. It does the same thing with my outbox, and quick text. also when i go to create new short message it takes me directly to the home screen.

For Razr v3 Push button on back side to open batter compartments.

For RAZR XT912/XT910. Press and hold volume down and power button to force reboot.

Please press the 1.message button ,Then go 'Messagse inbox'
Open Message inbox and you can see the messages which you have got.Now press the 2.menu button to perform various operations on the message.

try to master reset and master clear..

if the phone freeze before reaching the reset menu.. you will need a software (wich i have) to be able to reset your/repair your phone.

Mine does the same thing..

they might be locked so go in to options and it will say on there how to unlock

I would definitely reset the phone, unless you can find a way to clear the text messages out before it crashes to the Main Menu. My guess is that you have a corrupted text message in your inbox, and it is crashing the software.

Resetting the phone will wipe out all of the data on it, so make sure you back it up first. If you have the Motorola Phone Tools, you may also want to try accessing the text messages or updating the phone software through it first.

Press the message button on the keypad, then the middle button above the wheel. Press down on the wheel 3 times and press the center wheel button twice. Then hit the left button above the wheel.

try press *#power @ the same time. if see something let me know.

there must be water entered in the set ... get it serviced if not solved ... change the dailing stripe.

try master resetting the phone....if that does not work then take the phone to have it reflash.
