First, please check all USB cable connections, unplug and re-plug the cable both at computer side-port and printer side-port.. Then,check if USB cable is good. If you are sure that's all alright so the logic board of the printer may be faulty. Overall this is about connection problem. Good luck.

Click It. Under it choose your operating system and preferred language. Now you can choose to the download the driver and other software for your printer. that sounds like one of the scanners bulbs is not working correctly. since the unit is most likely still under the one year manufacturer warranty I would recommend that you contact the manufacturer for warranty replacement.
The 8 error code just means that the ink absorber is full and needs to be replaced. Power cycling will not help this problem. A shop needs to replace the absorber and reset the counter. Thanks, Bhautesh.
