Microwave not working

Hi, I have a Panasonic microwave.  It has been in storage for a year and the first time I used it, it worked until I stopped it midway because I wanted to change the length of time.  It refuses to work although the clock timer lights are on - the keypad doesn`t respond.
I don`t have the model number as the booklet is still in storage somewhere.  It has been a fantastic microwave and has worked since I bought it 20 years ago and it worked in Australia but refuses to work now in France.
What could be wrong?  My boyfriend checked that the voltage is okay here.  Perhaps the keypad has blown?
As I say, the window shows the colons of the clock timer lit up but nothing works thank you

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour. Then let us know if the hard reset does not fix it.

Otherwise, your controller or keypad may have moisture on it.

My panasonic microwave stops working after 6

If it stops after 7 seconds, it has a problem with the inverter.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

It stoped

If the digital programmer circuit / controller does not get a feedback signal from the inverter for a period of 3 seconds, the controller will stop the cook cycle.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

Let us know if the hard reset does not fix it.

If it stops at 16 seconds and is a sensor model, it probably has a defective humidity sensor.

If it stops after 22 seconds, that means the controller has detected a problem, usually a problem with the inverter or a bad magnetron.

If you do indeed have a problem, Since it's less than one year old, it should be fully covered under warranty. I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free.

I would recommend that you contact your nearest Panasonic-authorized servicer.

Hi there, I have a panasonic microwave which is a few years old now. The problem is that it goes for about 20 secs then stops, the display returns to the time and the light in the microwave goes out....

22 seconds is the giveaway.

In most cases, this is a problem with the inverter or a bad magnetron.
