I think that Microsoft sell not finished stuff. Maybe because of piracy? Some viruses can fool you too. AVG is good free antivirus...

How do I send and receive pictures on my e mail

Before you push the send button, you must attach you picture to the email. There is usually a button with a picture of a paper clip on it that will start the process. You will then need to go to the location on your computer hard drive where pictures are stored and double click on the pictures you want to send. The pictures usually end in file type .jpg. You camera probably named the picture with a number like 12345.jpg. Once you have attached the picture(s), please the send button on your email screen.

How do I send pictures by email

When you can't attach pictures to your mail, you always can use wetransfer. There you put in the pictures, your mail address, the receivers address and a message.
In Gmail and Yahoo, you can attach files, so jpg or png to, by clicking on the paper clip. Gmail on top of the page, yahoo on the bottom of the page. Gmail and Yahoo accept up to 25 Mb for attachments, but most other providers don't like large files.

I WANT TO EMAIL PHOTOS AND I DONT KNOW HOW

How to send a photograph attached to an e-mail It's easy to send a photography to us or to anybody else, using the software that you normally use to send email. However, you can't attach a photo file or any other kind of file unless you know exactly where it's located on your computer. Most pictures will be located within the overall folder "My Pictures" which is within the folder "My Documents"
  1. Compose a message in your email software, such as America Online or Outlook Express
  2. Find the button for attachments on your email software. It may look like a paper clip and it will probably say "attach files".
  3. Click on that button. An explorer window will open.
  4. Navigate to the folder where the file you want to send is located. For example, mypictures/2007Jan/0123.jpg
  5. Click on the name of the picture or other file.
  6. If you want to send more than one file, hold down the "control" key and click on the additional file names.
  7. The display of the email message you're sending will have change. It will now say something like "attachments (1) 0123.jpg"
  8. The message will probably also tell you the size of the file(s) you have attached - "140KB" for example.
  9. Press "send"
  10. Email with attachments takes longer to upload than plain text. If your photos are large, it may take a minute or more.

I'm having problems attaching pictures to my email messages. Before this week, I could attach up to three pictures with no problem. Now in trying to attach one picute, the attachment never stops uploading....

Try emptying your temporary files.
"Tools">"Internet Options">Browser History click "Delete">new window click "Delete" again.

Be sure you have the latest "Flash Player" installed.

Be sure you have the latest "Java" installed.

If none of htese work, you can switch back to using the old Yahoo! mail interface here.

If you still aren't happy with the outcome, you can try using a program like "Windows Live Mail", "Outlook", etc.. I use the first one and am pleased.

Have rec'd email with a jpg file attached How can I open it

JPG, JPEG, are standard picture files. By default windows XP should be able to open them. But, sometimes Email programs block those files (attachments) because of infection potential. Check your mail security settings, specifically, look for a setting that says "block potentially harmful attachments" and uncheck it. then reopen your mail client program.
