How do i type in a channel such as 7.1 ? - Polaroid 1720-7 Remote Control

Try to move your antenna just a few inches and re-run a channel scan. Sometimes if the channel wasn’t found when the scan was done it will not even appear when you type the number in directly. Huge flaw in my opinion but that’s just the way they do it

Try these steps and let me know if it works.

Step 1 : Type http://192.168.0.1 on the address bar of internet explorer

Step 2 : Login to the router setup by typing the default password admin

Step 3 : Click wireless settings on the left side.

Step 4 : Click Manual Wireless Network Setup

Step 5 : Under Wireless network Settings Uncheck the option Enable Auto Channel Scan

Step 6 : Select the wireless channel you need

Step 7 : Click Save Settings.

Try to change the router channel number. Nintendo suggests to put it on ch 7 or 11. You can do this from a computer that is connected to the internet through the same router. Open up a browser an in the address bar type in your default gateway to login into your router and change the options. Each router is different and might have different default gateways. For example Netgear routers usually have the default gateway 198.168.1.1 but others will be different. You can find your default gateway by:

WinXp
1.Click start
2.Click run
3.type cmd - enter
4.type ipconfig - and it will display your info.

Win7
1.Click start
2. type cmd in the search bar and when you see cmd.exe click it once (usually the top find)
3.then type ipconfig - and it will display you info

After you find your default gateway number type it into your browsers address bar, no www or http needed. Just type it as it is.

Each router's configuration page is different so I would suggest that you consult your manual on how to change the wifi channel, or broadcast channel, or even radio channel. All of those sould be terms that are used. Hope this helped.

1. Using a computer that is plugged into the router directly with a network cable, open a web browser.

2. In the "Address Bar" type http://192.168.1.1 and press Enter.

3. A box should appear asking for a "User Name" and a "Password". Leave the "User Name" field empty, and type your WRT54G router password into the "Password" field (the default "Password" is admin) and click the OK button or press [Enter].

4. The WRT54G "Setup" page should now appear. Click onto the Wireless page.

5. When the "Wireless" page loads, you should be on the Basic Wireless Settings sub-section.

6. Look for the "Wireless Channel" option. The default channel is set to "6 - 2.437GHz". Change it to either "1 - 2.412GHz", or "11 - 2.462GHz".

7. Click on the Save Settings button toward the bottom of the page to save changes. Click Continue when prompted to reload the page.

8. The channel of your WRT54G has now been changed. Restart your wireless computers so that they can automatically connect using the new channel.

9. If you still experiencing interference using channels 1, 6, or 11, try switching the router to the other channels as well (2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10) and find one that captures a good connection.

Step 3: Towards the left corner click channel and ssid under wireless
Step 4: on the left under wireless click channel and SSID
Step 5 :Change the Wireless channel to 6 and also you can change the frequency there
Step 6 : Change the SSID to a different name ( no Spaces )
Step 7 : Click apply changes
Step 8: On the left under wireless click Security
Step 9 : Enable 64 Bit WEP
Step 10: Type a 10 digit number on the key 1 ( 2 in each box )
Step 11 : Click apply changes
Step 12 : Now Scan and connect to this network ( Wireless )

Page 7 of the manual gives you all the different configurations of this amp, and it's MAX power. FYI; Kenwood rates their amps at MAX power, not clean. Hope this helps.

What local area are you in? 7 & 9 may have moved to another channel. Every distributor of channels ie. Comcast, Directtv, Dish, Bright House, etc has channels all over the map!! with no real clear plan it seems! If you go to DTV answers.com you can get the new local lineup for your area. At this point, if you still don't have the signal, you may need to re-align your antenna for the best possible reception. If you go to Terk.com you can type in your zipcode and it will show you where the transmitting antennas are located. You may need a better antenna like a Wineguard or larger Terk to get all your channels. Hope this helps

Interchange the video channels 1-4 and 5-7. Now check white vertical line in video port 5-7. Suppose you get problem remove cable television cable from tv during another two port running. These type problem occurs only when RF disturbance from cable television or video ochannel ports cable wire ground problem. I found there is no problem in tv. External source only the problem.
