And how would we we would know if you have it set up right? There's not a lot of information here to work with.

What's "ENOUGH" bass? Many things play into bass in the listening environment beside the basic electrical connections. Web search for "subwoofer placement" as a start. I imagine the manual that came with it may address that aspect.

My amp won't play bass everything is hooked up

I have a similar problem with my 2012 civic, I hooked up my 1800w kenwood mp to my 2 12" w6s and 1 song plays and sounds great, the rest of my songs have no bass from the subs, just the car speakers sound normal so I dont know what the hell thats all about. I thought it was a wiring issue but I can play the one song all day and it sounds perfect so any suggestions? thanks in advance

Hi, I cant get my bas to work with 5.1 only with my front right and front left. what channel should i use? please help

Please rephrase. "5.1" and "only ... front right and front left" are mutually exclusive. Look at manuals.

In general, bass is 'managed' by directing it toward or away from any speaker the user declares to be LARGE or SMALL, usually based on arbitrary cone sizes instead of bass handling capability. There 'managed' bass is rerouted to the presumed capable LFE/Bass/Subwoofer channel to avoid potential damage to bass-shy speakers. Therefore, if one lacks a subwoofer one has to tell that to the receiver and designate the other speakers as LARGE or the bass will get tossed in the bit-bucket

I need to know what all cords do I need to hook it up right and how does the theater system hooks up to the tv?

I couldn't find the manual for this model but below is the link for a DC-TS760 Manual which should give you enough information to enable you to connect it all together.

Easiest way is to just use a Scart Lead (and Audio Leads if your TV has an Audio Out) as detailed.

I have a sony 100 watt amp and it wont stay on for very long

You need more current.Bass notes require more juice and the best way to get more power for bass is to add a power capacitor to your system . They are easy to install and you can get one for less than a hundred dollars that should be enough for your amp and subs.

Need to hook up bass system to 1999 ford explorer can anyone assist me

Probably need an installer - depends on yr/make/model of car - stereo and wiring diagram for sub system. There are lots of questions need answering and if not installed properly, you can certainly damage the stereo, sub system. Subs use a lot of power and improper wiring could cause problems, even fires !

May i suggest removing the equilizer unless you can adjust the settings for each amp seperatly. The amps themselves will allow you to add bass boost and treble boost. I think the problem your having is trying to run to much bass through your system causing it to distort badly.
