If I didn't know any better, your description makes it sound like this TV fell over onto it's back.
You will probly have to replace the set, since I would personally recommend a new Power supply board and perhaps, LCD Display.
Both of which would cost close to what you paid for the set to begin with. Buy a nice Vizio! :)

I have a two wide line at the top and bottom of my tv picture. how do i get rid of lt? modle number dp37647-e-mail [email protected]

Sounds like you just need to change your display mode, look on the remote for a button that says zoom, also in your display menu with your remote, there also should be a setting that allows you to switch from standard widescreen etc. choose full screed or wide screen mode that should get you back to full screen, please keep me posted I would be glad to Trouble shoot this issue until resolved.

When I turn my Sanyo DP37647 TV on the green light comes on but there is no picture or sound.

When there is neither picture nor sound you're likely in need of a service or replacement of the main board.

Service is usually the way to go as replacement is unable to find or too darn expensive, at least in the past year or so.

The typical indication of this problm is that the front light doesn't just stay green, but actually blinks for a second every 15-20 seconds.

If it does that you're definitely in for service.

The DP37647 model isn't listed there as we're planning to post about it in a separate article...however it has the same symptoms as some of the others.

If you want to send the board in for repair , shipping instructions can be found at http://www.coppelltvrepair.com .

It really isn't a simple DIY service like a fuse or capacitor replacement.
