I sound like the Russian manufactured image intensifier tube has gone bad. This Kalinka Zenith Piezon Russian NV monocular was and is manufactured in Russia. Have tried to use piezo handle on the top of the monocular. This is suspose to eliminate the battery for operation by using you hand and finger to pull down on the handle many time to charge up some capacitor and diodes.. GB...stewbison

My panasonic nv gs90 wont turn on . Why ?

This camera is 30 years old and if it has not been used regularly, will have suffered irrepairable damage from leaking components internally.
Take it to an authorised Panasonic repair shop for evaluation.

I have a moonlight nightvision andthe red light comes o n but the picture is not coming in to veiw

Roll the batteries once installed to rub through any oxidation on contacts and on batteries. If it does not remedy it, you may need to look closer at the condition of the wiring.

Red light flashing in lens not working

Few questions, NV devises have IR luminator, it is infrared light that inhance the ability of the image intensifier tube? There is just alot of factors that effect the lumenation of the NV devise. Do you have a green glow in the NV monocular? Have you installed new batteries? Have you taken it a part and look inside? Just install new battery and make sure that the polority is correct

I will give you a little secret here, when the Russian put these NV devises together. They have atleast 50 Russian Orthodox Priest praying that these devises will work. Once you open these NV devises you let out the great polisky juices. it finished once this happen. Did you let the polisky juice out? stewbison

I put in a brand new battery in my night owl optics night vision monocular and the red light comes on but i can not see anything out of it.

Hello, this Night Owl monocular will have two light (LED's), one green for on/off, and other red LED for IR illuminator. So, does the green light come on? Also, if still does work, then send it to me. I some parts to fix other NV devise and 95% of them are manufactured in Russia including yours.
I wish you all the luck. GB...stewbison

I have a NV-100 Compact with illuminator should I have to hold the switch pushed in all the time I am trying to use it?

Not all the time, but if you release the button the image will fade to nothing in a minute or so. This is how it switches itself off. Don't expose it to light while it's powered up as this might damage it.

Lost all electric power in car. Drove it 15 miles parked and 1 hour later nothing. The remote door unlock did not work and the dome light did not come on after manually opening. Tried to jump no luck. any...

This happened to me two weeks ago, i tried to jump it and nothing, sor I repalced the battery. A few days later I got a flat, and told the service guy at the shop what happened. He checked the voltage on the "jump points" and told me the jump points weren't connected to the battery. I found out that if you need to jump this vehicle, remove the fuse block,a nd put the jumper cables directly on the battery. I spent 100 bucks on a new battery for nothing!!!

Lesson Learned: Chevy "Jump Points" make me want to jump off a bridge!
