We had the same problem and notice that the input jack itself is plastic and that the retaining collar (or nut) is also plastic. Further, it was much thinner than the simila retaining collar on the Footswitch and Headphone jacks. Our solution was to simply carefully remove the retaining collar from the Footswitch Jack and put it on the Input jack. We don't use the footswitch jack anyway. This solved the problem and the amp works fine now.
Yes, the jack MAY actually be broken. It will need to be serviced. Run cables through the handle to avoid plugs from being yanked sideways and breaking the jacks.
