4. PRINTER TRANSPORTATION
This section describes the procedures for transporting the printer for returning after repair, etc.
1) In the service mode, press the Power button to finish the mode, and confirm that the paper lifting plate of the sheet feeder unit is raised.
2) Keep the print head and ink tanks installed in the carriage.
[See Caution 1 below.]
3) Turn off the printer to securely lock the carriage in the home position. (When the printer is turned off, the carriage is automatically locked in place.)
[See Caution 2 below.]
4) To further secure the carriage to prevent movement from the home position during transportation, make and use a fixing tool in the following procedures:
i. Fold an A4-sized paper 5 times, and wrap it twice with tape, as shown in Figure A below (to prevent the fixing tool from caught into the inside of the
printer).
ii. Insert the fixing tool between the carriage and the main case unit, and securely fix it with tape, as shown in Figures B and C below.
Note: The tape should be similar to the polyester tape used at shipment, which will not easily be torn or removed, or leave adhesive on the unit when
removed.
Leave a sufficient length of tape to fix the tool so that the tape end is easily seen even when the cover is closed, so that the user will remove the

Pixmama mx712 6000 error

Is this a brand-new printer? If so, make sure you haven't left any of the packaging materials inside the printer (any of the colored tape, foam, paper, shipping plastic pieces, etc.).

Make sure you don't have any empty cartridges, and that there's nothing jammed in the printer.

Epson expression xp 600 error code 0xEA when setting up

I had the same problem today. I opened the printer below the scan bed, where you install the ink cartridges and there was a piece of packaging material that got left in that while I unpacked. I removed that and the 0XEA error was gone. I was sure the problem was nothing to do with the cartridge installation as it was the initial setup of the printer and cartridge installation was the next step based on the user guide. I was getting this error on initialization after setting the region, date and time.

Bypassing cartridge message s405

You won't be able to bypass the "missing cartridge" error. All cartridges needs sufficient ink left for the printer to print. If one the cartridges is out of ink it will damange the printhead.

Will 27 black and 28 tri-colour cartridge work on a D1560 hp deskjet

HP 21 black and HP 22 tricolor cartridges are the cartridges compatible with HP DESKJET D1560.HP 27 and 28 won't work with your printer because they won't get recognized by the machine. It will only give you an error message like incompatible cartridges.

Ink cartridges won't move to the left when opened

This is something I have seen on a number of occassions and it's always been the same issue. One of the ink cartridges has come unseated and has popped up out of its bay.
First of all make sure that the printer is not switched on. then open the lid. Get something thin and strong (rigid) - a 6inch steel ruler is ideal. Slide it in over the ink cartridges and then press down hard. Hopefully you will hear one of them click as it goes back into place. Turn the power back on and see if that has fixed it.
It generally does - but your's may be the one that doesn't.

ERROR 6000 ON MY CANON PRINTER MP550

The front panel was open ON MP550 and had been hit by the a recliner. There is a sensor on that front door that detects that it is open. I had to take the front door off, reach in the slot on the left side of the opening, slide the sensor back up, and reinstall the door while holding the sensor up. Error 6000 went away!!!
