I have a Intel 845 motherboard. recently i installed windows 7. when i play games, i get a message that "hardware acceleration is either disabled or not supported by your video card driver"....

click start right click on computer select properties device manager scroll to display adapters if you see a yellow question/exclamation mark or a red X the driver will need to updated/reinstalled
right click select update driver if your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it or you might need to download the drivers compatible to run your games or a hardware accelerator driver
you should browse through all of the devices to make sure the drivers have no yellow or red x's on them

How to check pci sun xvr-500 graphics card work properly in sun blade 1500 at solaris 5.8 and what is the name of its packges and patch

Want to make sure your drivers are in place and no errors have occurred? Simply click start right click on my computer select properties then select device manager scroll to Display Adapters and click on the small "+" you should see the model of your PCI Express graphic card there. If there is a problem with it, a yellow exclamation mark should appear besides it. If you don't see it everything is OK and your card is working properly.

If your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it

Click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question exclamation mark ? mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers if you don't have a disk with the drivers you have to download them

"video card or driver doesn't support UBYTE4N vertex data".

Hi,

The problem is that Call of Duty 4 requires a dedicated graphics card, not the Intel graphics accelerator that you have installed. The only solution is to see if your motherboard will accept a new video card, and installing one compatible with Call of Duty 4 (see the requirements on the box).

I whant drivers

Go to device manager and allow windows updates to search for a compatible driver (it just might find something that will work).
You can look through these drivers:

SunFire V240 using XVR-100 graphics card

may be the graphics card has fitted correctly on the slot inside try reinserting once....
or
may be this is due magnetic field appliances like speakers are very near 2 monitor so keep some distance from monitor and then on monitor press menu button and give degauss....
if still problem problem persists then may be there is some conflict with the driver so try uninstalling it and then installing it again...

or else may be there monitor problem ... just have check with connecting another monitor

External PCI Express Video Card

Does the motherboard have integrated video? If so, you'll need to disable this (unless its a Dell or something that supports both integrated and add-on, for increased performance..). I'd check the IRQ's and component resources to make sure there isn't a resource conflict (done in safe mode of course).
