My panasonic PT-61HX42F Will Turn on briefly, then shut off and the power light blinks three times. I saw on another similar model that it may be the transformer, Is this the case for mine as well? It gets sound and picture but as soon as the picture comes up it shuts off. Thank you for any help you can offer.
Set is five years old, read posted suggestion for repair, is it worthwhile?? get good hi-def picture when working although picture settings are almost maxed out (contrast,sharpen etc) and when first turned on there is horizontal "jitter" which clears away after 2 minutes or so
You need to change the stk 392-110 (2 ic ) and some resistor around the area ok
