"pause" isn't something you can reset exactly I'm afraid. Pause means that the washer door was opened mid cycle so all you should need to do is shut the door to restart the cycle. Unfortunately if it doesn't re-start, it means that your door latch assembly has failed and isn't sensing that the door is shut. You'll need to order and replace the door latch assembly to fix the issue.
It's actually a fairly easy part to replace if you're handy. You'll need to unplug the washer and open the door to start with. Then there is a wire ring around the front lip of the rubber door gasket. Use a flat head screwdriver/needle nose pliers and pry the wire ring off. From there you can pull the gasket back out of the way. Remove the screws going into the door latch from the front and reach behind to replace the door latch assembly.
Make SURE the door strike on the door isn't broken too.
that's only a 6$ or so item.
Here's a site for parts and a video on how to replace it.

If you just paused the washer and now displays a error try draining any existing water all out of the machine. Before re filling it see if you still get the error message.I'll be happy to guide you through this.

Because our machine was new and covered under warranty, we had a maintenance person come out three times for this issue, but the only solution he could provide was to use less soap. Apparently, too much soap disrupts a sensor. So, if you let the machine run without adding any more soap, it will (theoretically) fix the problem. And this solution did work, to a certain extent.
Even though I started using much less soap, the problem is still persisting. For awhile, I was successfully able to fix it by running a few cycles without soap. Now, however, it just won’t work. Maybe others will have more success with this solution than we did.
At this point, the washer is no longer cover under warranty and our best solution is to buy anything but a Frigidaire or related Electrolux product.

Disconnect power then open the door and remove the spring-hoop assembly that secures the door gasket. Peel off the part of the door gasket near the door lock and switch assembly. Remove the screws securing the door lock and switch assembly to the front panel then pull the door lock and switch assembly out. Transfer the wires to the new door lock and switch assembly then install into place. Put the door gasket back and secure it with the spring-hoop assembly. Click on the link below for the detailed procedure.

Hi
The issue is with the door lock assembly that is bad and should be replaced. If the door lock assembly is bad the control will sense that the door is open and so will not start a spin cycle. If you want you can test the door lock assembly with a voltmeter before replacing it. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Hello Mary Fortner - It means that the washer has been paused; the cycle has been interrupted. Either the "Pause/Cancel" button or "Start/Pause" button has been pressed. To resume wash - press "Pause/Cancel" or "Start/Pause" once. If this does not prove to be successful please turn the breaker to the unit off for 5 minutes. Then turn the breaker back on to the unit, and retry the cycle setting again.
