Hello, My samsung ln82341w has sound problems. Two cable channels have no sound; 1 channel has crackling/static sound; and most of the other channels the sound will go out when the first one or two commercials come on and then comes back on the 3rd commercial and stays on when the program I'm watching comes back on. It's not the cable service b/c these same channels work on my other samsung ln 82341 tvs. i tried un and then re-plugging both cable box and tv, I tried various sound options on the menu but nothing is working. Please help!

The problem isn't with your TV, its with the cable company.
Call the cable company, problem is most likely with your digital box or a signal problem.

Why static on motorola CLS 1110?

Are you referring to static (random snapping, crackling, popping) that only occurs when you are handling the radio, or a steady hissing sound when turned on? The first may indicate the radio has a defect or loose internal connection; the second is reduced by adjusting the squelch setting. More information is always helpful.

The sound is distorted and overwhelmed by static

Depends what the real problem is.

Is it related to certain sources only - try new or reseated cables, swap it to a different input; single channel - swap to isolate; or certain controls that have become noisy? A shop might be able to get some tuner cleaner into them.

Static in speaker channel on my Samsung Surround Sound system

our started cracking and popping this morning. It seems from all the posts that it is always the right front speaker. With that kind of trend it can be traced back to mfg. Is there a recall, are they covering the cost?

Channel 2 crackles

Make sure your speaker wiring does not come close to the 12v power cable running for your amplifier. If your amplifier's 12v power cable runs on the drivers side of the vehicle, run your speaker cables on the passengers side and make sure your tweeters have a high pass filter to stop any pickup of engine sound (When you are driving you *WILL* notice it at high RPM. a HPF (High Pass Filter) will also stop those nasty hissing sounds on S's.

Not all channels available

Sounds like a bad tuner or more commonly the connector on the tuner is loose and or broken.

Rolling channels and bad sound on one channel

One channel with bad sound is most likely the station/cable or satellite provider at fault. With the channels changing on thier own look for a stuck button on the TV set such as the channel up or down. You might try unplugging the TV for 2 minutes and then trying to see if resetting fixes it.
