Make sure that the program controller is working if not check power - step down supply, the pads are responding- if not faulty pads- or the door switches, if the switch contact are not good then it will not trigger the processor to switch on the waveguides.Since the table turns without a program start and If the lights or fan work without any display or action of program being triggered to start then it can be a possible fault on the main board or the processor. Sometimes insect secretion can short the board and display panel and so the processor can work in such an erratic manner. If so clean, solder and reset the board.

GE OVER THE RANGE MICROWAVE DOES NOT STOP WORKING

You probably have a shorted cook relay.

We regularly repair this problem with our $39.95 service, or you can order a new circuit board from the Pros here, our favorite supplier.

Turnable is still on when the door is open, it does not stop

It may be door switch or switch mount trouble.

See our help file on door switches here.

Or it may be a shorting relay on the control circuit board, which can be repaired. More info here.

Microwave still running after I open the door .It's a Turnable Micro Oven Moder JE1540GW003

Door switches

If one of the door interlock switches is not switching properly or there is a condensation problem on the sensor control panel, either can cause the turntable/light/oven to come on even though the "Starts" button has not been depressed due to the wiring of the switches.
Check for faulty door switches and/or contaminated actuators.
I hope that helps.

Microwave won't shut off

The door switches are what tells the microwave that the door is opened or closed. If they play up they could be causing your microwave to act strangely.

GE microwave won't turn off

Just checked the GE website. Had the same problem with my 5 year old microwave. GE website says to close and open the door quickly three times. First time I did this it didn't work. Second time I closed the door with some significant force and reopened it more quickly. Worked. Unplugged the microwave, plugged it back in, still fine.

GE microwave Turnable turns on opening the door

Thanks for the photo of the label!

It shows the FCC ID number, which I used to find schematics at the FCC Web site.

The problem is a shorted primary interlock switch.

This is the door switch which has two black wires connected to one terminal and a black and a blue wire connected to the other
terminal.

See these files for help:

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

If a switch is all you need, we offer a universal type for only $5 postpaid which you can order here.

It works even if I open or close the door.

if thats a microwave.. then the sensor of the closed door is broken.. thats why it worked even when open.. and that is really dangerous...
so.. your best bet would be opening it and find the broken thing that tells the microwave when its closed...

that thing is usually the little secures attach to close the oven..

if its not a microwave, the problem might still be something similar to this..
