Tissot T33.1.588.51 T-Touch Black Dial?

This watch's various functions stopped working and after surfing the net I can say that this is terminal and far to exspesive to repair. It is a problem which a lot of owners have faced and are very upset about given the cost of the watch. I have yet to find a web page where Tissot is willing to assist owners with a repair. Richard

SOURCE: "Tissot Touch" Touch screen failure

it all stems from the watch not actually being waterproof it's more water resistant than waterproof. The little indentations on the back that look like they are for a tool to unscrew it are actually holes i guess for the altimeter and meteo so it can sense pressure. Behind the back just behind the holes is a nylon gauze material and underneath this is a sensor slightly recessed and covered with some kind of waterproof substance. As far as i can see the problems lie here any water sweat or other foreign object than gets into this gauze will eventually will clog this gauze material which at first will affect the altimeter then the meteo. When the gauze has been clogged up severely i gets very dirty indeed which means when it gets wet it takes an age to dry out so if you wear it in the shower like i used to it will never dry out this causes the watch to malfunction quite severely. You can actually fix this problem yourself just get a very small flat screwdriver and lever the back off don't worry it's only a push fit and comes of easily you will see straight away a dirty damp smelly clogged up round piece of nylon gauze clean this up with a bit of WARM not boiling soapy water being careful not to disturb the pressure sensor and it's waterproof goo inside then dry it all and put it together
Hope this helps

SOURCE: Synchronize analog and digital time on Tissot T33 T-Touch Watch

I could not get any result from entering your model in their web site but the "T Touch online" seems to be a watch that has similar features perhaps.

Their catalogues seem to be generic, so by going to their web site http://support.tissot.ch/?mod_flashPDF/id_138 you may finswhat you need.

Touch functions don't work. Stop watch occasionally works, all other functions shut down. Had ZERO assistance from Tissot after writing to their website and seeking tech support. Useless company, I'll...

Do you have a manual for the watch?

If yu haven't, then you can download one by going to their web site (tissot.com), click on "collections".

Then on "Touch collection", then click on "t touch", then double click on the t touch and details of the watch will appear. Click on "user manual" and then on "download" for your instructions.

Touch only works on some functions now . centre touch does not work at all and thermo does not work, cant get the date of course

If you have had the watch some time then the battery might be running down.

Go to a watch shop and have the battery replaced. If this does not solve the problem, then you may have to take it to a Tissot dealer or send it to a repair depot.

If you need to look for a dealer, one can be found by going to the Tissot web site "www.tissot.ch", from the menu at the bottom of the page select "stores" and fill in your details.

Hi guys, my Tissot Touch watch has a non sinc problem with the digital and analog time. any solutions? thanks, Rodney

The Tissot Touch watch is expected to need "SYNCHRONIZTION" periodically. (that is, to synchronize the digital and analog portions.) The Tissot manual tells how to do this. This manual came with your watch and is available online from the Tissot website.

good luck, Rodney

Tissot T-Touch : Faulty reading on Thermo, no reading on Altimeter and meteo not working either

If it's under warranty by all means pursue a fix. You might have to send it to a warranty center instead of working with your local dealer.

"Water proof" and "water resistant" are very different. About 20 years ago all watch companies stopped promising waterproof and started using the term water resistant. It gives them wiggle room in the guarantee, unfortunately. I believe T-Touch is supposed to be water resistant to only a few meters.

Centre Sensor no longer functioning

You are need to send it into tissot for a service. You cannot fix this problem on your own. There is a two year warranty for tissot. Hopefully you will be eligible.

Tissot issue

I have a similar problem which started this morning. My watch is almost 5 years old, and is on it's original battery. I suspect this is the first sign of the battery dying.
