What changes have been done to the latest firmware for my DI-604 and DI-614+?

Are you sure you need to update it? Latest version, to my knowledge, is 2.76.
Go to http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=DI-624&rev=DI-624 and then look for "support resources" and firmware.

First thing I would do if you haven't already is update to the latest firmware. follow the link below and choose the correct model/revision of the model you own from there you can download the latest firmware as well as the manual if you need it to view how to update the firmware. It is quite easy in the interface when logging into the router. If you need further assistance please let me know. Check you have the latest firmware and also check you haven't set idle time out (it should be 0 = always on)
Also see if there are other routers in the vicinity especially n-routers which will knock it offline so you should change the channels.

Unfortunatly, from what you are saying it seems that the router is dead.

The newest firmware version is actually v 2.01.
The file should be called DI634M_firmware_201.bin and is engineered for North American products only. Does that apply to you?

Important! - Make sure that you use only hard-wired network connections for upgrading. Do NOT upgrade firmware on any router over a wireless connection. This might result in a device failure.

However, it also has the flash utility.....you could most likely save the firmware from your 1.01 router then use the flash utility on that site to flash the firmware you just saved to your 1.00 router :c)

Hi, You need to make sure you use a hard-wired connection to upgrade your router and the latest firmware can be found at http://support.dlink.com/products/view.asp?productid=DI%2D624%5FrevC#firm (This is for North American users only! If you do not reside in North America - DO NOT USE THIS).

Its not the problem with windows vista. what you need to do is go the d-link's website and download the latest firmware for your DI-514+. Make sure its the right firmware since there are multiple versions of the DI-514+. Follow the FAQ on the site on how to upload the firmware.
