Find the manuals and refer to them.

My personal spin on the instructions:

NO signal ever benefits from multiple connections or 'hops' and it gets expensive zig-zagging a signal all over the room. K-I-S-S is the word of the day. Run the BEST version of any signal directly from its source to the BEST electronics that will present it to you for consumption. The separation of audio and video inputs and outputs on a device is what allows and ENCOURAGES the direction of each signal to the BEST electronics that can process it. Example: your TV does not have the best speakers in the room so why send it any high-end audio?

I get picture but no sound on my samsung blu ray

  1. Are you connecting through HDMI?
  2. Do you have another source to test the HDMI cable to make sure it is not faulty?
  3. Do you have a second HDMI Cable you could test and connect with?
  4. Does your TV have another HDMI Connection you can use to connect with instead?

Essentially we are looking to determine whether or not it is the TV's HDMI connector, the Blu-Ray's, or just the HDMI cable in general.

Unable to play new SALT film blue-ray on my BD-P1500 and can not seem to fix it

The player needs a firmware update. Your issue is a direct result of this. Go to the Samsung website to access the appropriate download or simply connect your player to your modem with an ethernet cable (TV needs to remain connected to player for menu navigation) and update firmware.

This will solve your problem!

Hope I helped!

You may have firmware problem, this is one of the reson I do not own BRAY since you have to keep updating the firmware so you can play some of the new released BRAY disk.

I want to connect a wireless internet to my samsung blu ray BD P1500, how shoudl I do?

Unfortunately, this player has to use a wired network. (The Samsung WIS09 Wireless USB Adaptor is not compatible with the BD-P1500; it is compatible with the P1600.) Most wireless routers have a 4-port switch built in. If you can position your router in a place where the computers in your network can find the signal but gives you an easy wire run, do so with RJ-45 Cat5e or Cat 6 cable. Otherwise, you will need to run cable in the walls, in an attic or in a basement/crawlspace or use a second unit (wireless router (that can work as a switch), wireless switch or bridge with RJ-45 ports) to connect the TV to the primary router. Running cables will depend on your home, this can be easy or hard.

I hope this helps.

(In general I prefer wired networks. There is much less trouble-shooting for signal loss. Adding an extra switch adds to the issue.)

SAM BD-P1500 Remote won't work with Sharp LC-32D43U

If you are trying to use the remote that came with the dvd player you most likely can't get it to work with the TV. If it IS in fact a universal remote, then you need to check the codes that come both with the tv and with the remote. Post back with any more questions or info for further help. Advice on the best way to connect

If your system has hdmi in puts put the blu ray player into it then from hdmi out on system to hdmi in on your tv.Now take a phono lead from tv out put to a input on your system, could be marked "aux,tv,sat".For tv sound set the system to prologic2,blu rays should decode themselves,if not check settings for audio out on player.
hope this helps.
