You can probably find the software on the manufactures web site and download it and run the software from the .exe file. Without knowing the model number of the Wireless Adapter I have no way of looking for you, but the manufacture should be able to provide it via download.

I HAVE LOST MY INSTALLATION CD

The installation CD contains a driver of the adapter to run the device. If you lost the CD, you can let your computer find the driver online.

Connect your computer to the internet .Plug the USB device to your laptop. Go to device manager , look under network adapter , find Compact Wireless-G USB Network Adapter w/ SpeedBooster, right-click it, hit update driver, there will be a windows update pop-up page, so just hit search automatically.

I had computer issues last week and lost everything, now I'm trying to get my wireless set up again and the adaptor wont work (wont blink)

Hi,

I just want to tell you that once your computer formatted then all the drivers for the you usb adapter removed from your computer and you required to reinstall the drivers for you computer.

1. I can recommend you that you got the CD for your usb adapter. You can install the usb adapter on your computer with the help of CD.
2. Secondly in any case if lost the CD i am providing you a link for your adapter you go to this website and download it from this website according to the version for your adapter

Our dog chew up the software cd and i have had to reinstall all the software on my computer because harddrive crashed. I have download the driver for the US Robotics 802.11g wireless adapter and I am...

I would go into the device manager and remove the device from there - if its shown. Press the Windows key (bottom left of the keyboard} and at the same time press the R key, now in the search box that appears - type devmgmt.msc and see if you have a wireless adapter showing at all. If you have any ? X or ! look under network adapters - click on the + and see if you have the adapter listed - check if it has any X or ! or ?
As you have downloaded the driver from the website - you can right click on the device and remove - now reboot and let windows detect the new hardware and then it will ask for the driver again - see if that installs correctly
If you want to go back to before you installed the device - try a system restore start>programs>accessories>system tools>system recovery - choose a date to before the problem , that should clear the program and the registry, and then you can try to load the driver again
