To reverse the door on a Kenmore 700 series dryer, you can follow these general steps:
Gather the necessary tools: You may need a Phillips head screwdriver, a putty knife, and a small flathead screwdriver.
Unplug the dryer: Before starting any work, ensure the dryer is unplugged from the power source for safety.
Remove the hinge cover: Use a putty knife or a small flathead screwdriver to carefully pry off the hinge cover located on the opposite side of the door.
Remove the door: Locate the screws that secure the door to the dryer and use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove them. Carefully lift the door off the hinges and set it aside.
Remove the strike plate: On the opposite side of the door opening, remove the strike plate by unscrewing it.
Remove the door hinge: Unscrew the door hinge from the side it is currently attached to and transfer it to the other side of the opening.
Install the strike plate: Attach the strike plate to the opposite side of the door opening using the provided screws.
Reinstall the door: Place the door onto the new hinges and align it properly. Insert and tighten the screws to secure the door to the dryer.
Reinstall the hinge cover: Snap the hinge cover into place on the side where the door hinge used to be.
Test the door: Close and open the door to ensure it operates smoothly and securely.
It's important to note that specific instructions may vary depending on the exact model and design of your Kenmore 700 series dryer. Therefore, it is recommended to refer to the user manual or installation instructions provided by the manufacturer for detailed and model-specific guidance on reversing the door.

You can switch the side the door on our new dryers (model #s starting with 417) swings on. This video will tell ...
My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.
Some freezers have pre-marked holes for reversing the door. Inspect the opposite side of where your door hinges are. Also inspect the opposite side of where your door handle is to see if there are pre-marked holes.
The trick of reversing the door is the door alignment. Have someone hold up one side while you tighten the door hinges. You may have to loosen the hinges and repeat this process to get good alignment.
If there are no pre-existing holes you may try to drill them your self, but you must be exact in the location of the holes. Make sure you can move the door handle.
If your temperature control is on the door do not attempt this, the wiring harness is too short.
Mine do that. The sensors located at the bottom on either side of the door have to "see" each other. It is very easy to bump them out of alignment. Check that first. It is possible that they are faulty, and replacements cost about $30. You can't, and shouldn't bypass these for safety reasons.
REVERSING DOOR SWING
Your
dryer is designed so the door swing may be reversed at any time without
additional parts. Conversion is accomplished by transferring hinges to
the opposite side of the cabinet.
To change the direction of the door opening:
1.
Open the dryer door. Remove the four hinge hole plugs from the left
side of the door opening. Place nearby for future installation. NOTE: You may need a plastic knife to help pull out the plugs. Be careful not to scratch the paint.
2. Remove the four screws that secure the door hinges to the dryer front panel (see below). NOTE: Remove one screw from each of the two hinges first. Hold the door firmly before removing the last two screws.
3. Rotate the door 180° and reinstall the door hinges to the dryer front panel with the four screws.
4. Install the four hinge hole plugs in the open screw holes on the right side of the door opening.
If the door is reversible you will see plugs on the opposite side and top . pull out the plugs and save . remove handles and hinges and move use plugs on other side
there is no reversing the door on the washer. the door on the dryer can be reversed and with the execption of a few of the earlier models no kit is required(even then was just a trim kit). is switching theposition of the 2 appliances an option?? as far as wsher vibrating through house heres a new product receiving great response http://www.keshakeaway.com/servlet/StoreFront
