Computer crash! My computer recently crashed. Is it possible to get all my music back without having to reload all the songs agian?

My computer has crashed twice now, well once a hard drive went bad and the second time I broke a pin on the other hard drive. So I've lost my music twice. I do recommend backing it up...constantly. Try using the boot disk to boot the system and then enter fdisk /mbr to fix the master boot record. It doesn't destroy any data on a computer. If the BIOS allows it, you can then set the BIOS to boot to the alternative drive to run the cloned system, format the drive containing the defective system, clone the cloned system back to the main drive, set the BIOS to boot from the main drive, and you are back in business. You can keep the spare hard disk drive stored in a safe place ready to be reinstalled in an emergency, or to update the cloned system.
