We are needing a digital convergence module where can we buy this at? it is a silver box

It is either the ECM (engine control module) or more likely the BCM (body control module). You need them, don't remove it. :>D

There is no detail about the convergence control module you specifies here. It will be best to contact the nearest Authorised Service center for Toshiba at your town about its details. They will have the original convergence board with them. There is no other source to get it. No data is available at NET too. OK.

Did this problem just occur, or does it come and go?
If it just happened and it's continually doing it, it's most likely in the convergence circuitry. Most of the repairs on PTV are changing out modules. Problem occurs, what module exactly is involved, convergence usually has convergence output, pincussion, convergence drive and power supply. Which one? Without proper internal troubleshooting, hard to guess.
If the problem comes and goes, it's probably bad solder connections, PTV's are notorious for bad solder connections. When all the TV manufacturers removed silver from their soldering, using only tin and lead, lots of problems occurred since.

SILVER BOX....THEN GET ONE FROM JUNK YARD... FUSE BOX EITHER UNDER LEFT SIDE OF DASH. OR ON SOME ODD MODELS LOOK IN GLOVE BOX COMPARTMENT

I just reread your first post, Is the green the only one out of alignment? If so then the amplifier is not the problem. ICs that generally are at fault are on the digital convergence board but since you replaced them, then I would actually turn to the green projector like you said and try replacing that. There must be a short in it or in the cable going to it.

that model has digital convergence . It could be solder related or you may be needing a new convergence module in the near future. www.partstore.com may have the module in stock.

you need to replace the convergance modules,mounted on middle board mounted to tall aluminum heatsink, buy 2 STK392-040 DUAL CONVERGENCE ICS from www.bluestar-online.com cost for 2 plus shipping 18.78. You will need to desolder the 2 old ones and solder in the 2 new ones.You will also need some ceramic heat sink compound. If you cant perform the repair order parts take to tv guy to get them sodered in. Whole mess to fix if you buy help is under 200 bucks.

How long does it work for? Did you try to replace the entire convergence board to rule out bad pin amp? Sets with digital convergence should have a totally rebuilt board to diagnose this type of condition. Repost all the problems you had up to this point so we can best evaluate your problem.
