It is pretty easy. If running Windows just download the Sansa Updater (see link below) and install it.

Then, use the Mac/Linux instructions (even if running windows!) to put the e260 into MSC mode- turn e260 on, switch e260 hold switch to on, press and hold the e260s LEFT button "<<" while you plug the USB cable into the e260.

For me (running Windows XP) the Sansa updater automatically detected the e260 then and updated the e260's firmware.

I was doing a firmware update on panasonic ag af100 when suddenly the main power went off. Now the camera does not turn on, the power light keeps bliniking.
I dont know if this helps, but almost all of devices that I have updated the firmware, say DO not turn off the power while doing the update...and it also says that if you do..the device will have to be returned to the factory to correct this..Im sorry to tell you this.
I would still hook the wire back up and see what happens..if noting happens then it probley is over...needs to be sent back..

You can not stop a firmware update.
Did you turn the machine off while the firmware update? If you did that your NVram is broken
I think that the only chance you have is with a new NVram. Sorry but you will have to put a new NVram.

if your psp is updated past Firmware 5.03 then you cant. sorry but you need modded firmwares to play pirated games. this isnt the place to learn how and i suggest you look else where, im sorry but your asking to do something with almost no information about the psp so im going to assume u updated it and are past firmware version 5.03.

Just to let u know you cannot play pirated games on a psp without some hardwork, sony isnt going to just let anyone play their games for free sorry

down at the bottom of that page, though from the looks of things, they dont offer updates to the firmware anymore. (nor does their user manual really say anything helpful about upgrading it.

PSP DONT WORK
its called a "brick" its when the power is interuppted when you update the firmware on the psp. You need to either send it in to sony for them to fix it or buy something called a pandora's battery (and a magic memory stick) that will reboot the psp. Theres currently no other way to fix it unless you have custom firmware, sorry.

if it is a yp-t10 model, the firm upgrade is the same regardless of color:
Reset and then do a firmware upgrade if the problem persists.

ZENV has firmware problem

try downloading the MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.

By the way, before updating the firmware, let the battery have a full charge, ok?

I hope it won't keep freezing on you after the update.
