Toshiba Satellite® X205-S9349 bios beeping

I have Toshiba Satellite X205-S9349 and just after I power it up it beeps one long and two short beeps and after that it loads fine and working absolutely without any issues. I am not sure if anything wrong with the machine, but it never behaved like this before. I’ve reset the bios and run some diagnostic on video card, to no avail. Please, if anyone can help with the issue I would be very grateful.

The beep codes you are getting are for video but if the system boots and you have video im sure it is something with the ram on the video card. unfortunatly this will require a service from toshiba. these cards are intergrated and will require the motherboard to be replaced.

Try this
unplug plug the power cord and remove the battery and hold the power button for 45 seconds,Then reinstall the battery and and try to start the computer,

if it fails to start
unplug plug the power cord and remove the battery and hold the power button for 45 seconds and
remove the memory and any usb devices that may be plugged in,then start it,

If it starts

Allow it to load completely and then shut it down and install one memory stick and restart, if all is well after if loads completely, shut down again and install the other memory stick and restart, if all is well again wait until it loads completely and then plug in and allow to load each of the usb devices you may have

What brand bios does this model laptop use? X205-S9349

In the toshiba startup post display, should be a F key promting you to press for setup. Press that F key and it should take you into the bios menu, and your should be able to know what version or who the bios company is.

the system might have grown old.
Needs an internal battery replaced.
Its not the ome that you may flip it out. But it is inside.
the Laptop needs to be opened up for that .
The part is called CMOS battery.

Problem for Toshiba Satellite® X205-S9349 PC Notebook: i get power to the laptop, harddrive flashes a few times, then nothing. No beep sequence. took out ram strips, cleaned them, and reset them...

I have just recently experienced this same issue. My fix was easy. I removed the video card. removed the heat sync. Using a heat gun about 2" away from the backside of the video chip (bga) for about 30 seconds. Then immediately with a doubled up piece of cardboard, press down on the chip for 30 seconds. Let cool, then reassemble. I did this a month ago and still going.

Toshiba x205 Sli1 suddenly died. Got 3 beeps.

3 beeps usually means that either the chipset or the processor is dead. Nothing you can do, take it to a repair shop.

I gt power to the pc but it does not boot and the

well on the satellite x205 it could be a couple things. there isnt any beep code? if there is no beep code then it would need atleast a main system board. i worked on 2 last week but they had beep codes (3beeps) which were video cards. in your case pull each stick of ram, then if thats not the case order a main system board.
