Belkin support is so poor, i have got no response to my query. Buying any product means you will get some help. I was using dlink router previously and they have good and prompt support system, whereas these are just interested in people to pay more bucks for their premium support system.

My belkin f9k1002v1 router won't work.

Try resetting the router.
To reset the Belkin back to the default settings -
Press and hold the pinhole RESET button at the back of the router and then power for at least 15 secs. Then release the RESET button.
Connect a LAN cable from Belkin to your laptop/computer's LAN port, open a browser on your laptop/computer and enter the Belkin's configuration URL. http://192.168.2.1
The default PW = blank (just press Enter) You can now change the default admin password.
You can now configure the wireless settings. Now configure the wireless card in your computer/laptop with the router's wireless settings. To secure your wireless network from unauthorized access, please click on this link and follow my instructions :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r3559128-wireless_router_security

My belkin router n3000 stopped working out of the blue , internet connection shows up but no internet

Try recycling the router by unplugging it then after 20 seconds plug it back in. See if you can stay connected. If not, unplug the modem and the router, then plug the modem in and let it cycle up for about a minute or two, then plug the router in and let it cycle up.

If you turn your computer and router off at night, then when you turn them back on, if the router boots up before the modem, it will have connection problems. A power outage in the house causes the same thing if the router cycles up before the modem.

I have belkin 3342 router how do I get it to work with my acer laptop

Chances are, you have both a modem from your Internet company and your Belkin router. when you had the power outage, it took a bit longer for the modem to come up to a ready state and the router was already ready (they come up very quickly). Try unplugging the power to the router for ten seconds and plug it back in. Watch the icon in the lower right corner of your screen and you should see it connect. Then you should be able to get online.

My belkin router will not recognize the LAN connection of three PC. It will accept my laptop using the same Ethernet cables. I have recycled the router and reset my network. Still no connection. We had a...

Did you try direct wiring the other pcs to see if they will connect separately? If they won't then check the network settings on each pc that won't connect. Make sure that the gateway address is the same ip address as the router is.

Did it work before the outage, all of them at once? If so go to the Command Prompt (RUN, type in cmd, enter and a small window will pop up), and where the cursor is blinking type in - ipconfig - (some win versions use winipcfg) , hit ENTER. That will tell you what address are set to. It should say 192.168.xxx.xxx.
Type in - ipconfig /release - ENTER. That will reset the addresses which should now all be zeros.
Now type in - ipconfig /renew - (make sure you have the blank space between the g and the /). This should give you the 192.168.xxx.xxx address for IP if your network settings are set correctly under Network Connections- Properties-TCP/IP

Sometimes under outages you need to reset both the modem, the router and the pcs to acquire the new addresses.

Router not working after pc power shortage.

It is very common during any type of electrical spike (like power surge or lightning strike) to have the increase in power go through the network card over to the router and burn it up. This is not an issue if you are connected wirelessly, only when you are hard wired to the router. Also possible the surge came through the power source and got both of them. I would hold down the reset button for about thirty seconds to see if your light stops blinking. If it stops you can probably go in and configure it to connected again. Hope this helps

Restart problem

You may have to hard reset it by unplugging the cord itself and plugging it back in. When power comes back during power shortage, there may be a power surge rushing to the modem/router causing it to behave abnormally. Also, you may want to put power surge protection on it as it may damage you modem/router as i did mine.

Belkin router not working

Are there no leds when you power up the router? If there are no leds make sure the 110 volt circuit the router is plugged into is not tripped. If you have leds try holding in the reset button on the back of the router with a paperclip the botton is a small hole located by the internet/wlan port, hold for 10-15 seconds this resets the router to factory defaults.
