I got a Navigon 2110MAX GPS 4.3" and i managed to crack the internal reset button. At the local Navigon service they asked me 100 euro to replace the whole internal circuit. I still can short circuit with a wire but not all the times. How can i open the case to try a more stable solution ?

Well after many emails to Navigon I got the fix for my 2000s What you have to do is download the 1.2 version software for the 5100 install it on a 2GB micro SD Card. Put it in the slot and turn it on. You will have to regester as if you have a 5100 but it will work. The reason you have to use a 2GB card is the maps are to large to go on the internal memory.

To open the case you will need a very small flat screw driver to pop off the back of the case (be very careful as the clips holding it together are very small). You will then have four small phillip screws to remove, so that you can remove the front of the case. To remove the circuit board, there will be two very small phillip screws holding it in place once you've remove the front case.
