Brother LS-2125 Mechanical Sewing Machine Logo

Brother LS-2125i Just got a LS-2125 and having bobbin problems. I checked the archives for solutions in case someone else had the same problem. I've checked the bobbin(fine) and changed the needle. The length of it is fine. But still not grabbing the bobbin thread. There is no movement underneath at all. Isn't the shuttle or something suppose to be moving when the wheel is turned? I've taken everything out and put it back in several times. If anyone can give me more suggestions I'd really appreciate it.

Model LS-2125i..How do I access the bobbin

Make sure that the needle is fully up first and raise the presser foot. To access the bobbin, you need to remove the flat bed attachment that is at the front of the machine. This just rotates up and off the machine. Next rotate the shuttle cover down from the top of the cover. Now you can pull out the bobbin case towards you by the latch. This piece goes across the center of the bobbin case and to the right. Now you can remove an empty bobbin (if needed) and put the wound bobbin into the bobbin case to replace the bobbin.

For this procedure, the pictures in the manual may be clearer than the written description. See pages 14 and 15 (16 and 17 for the PDF) in the manual. Brother currently has the manual here: http://www.brother-usa.com/VirData/Content/en-US/HAD/Consumer/UsersManual/UM_LS_2125i_EN_1628.PDF . The LS-2125i support is here: http://www.brother-usa.com/support/ModelInfo.aspx?R3ModelID=LS2125i . Click on the Manuals & Documents page. Most Brother manuals and other documents can be found by searching here: http://www.brother-usa.com/Support/ .

I hope this helps.

Bolt under bobbin winder fell inside machine LS-2125i

My brother machine has 2 screws that are under the carry handle, this removes the top piece of the casing and then you should be able to just tip the machine upside down to drop the screw out. Hope this helps.

Missing bobbin compartment

If the whole bobbin compartment is missing, you really need to take the machine back to walmart. They will exchange it and all will be good. :) Otherwise, Brother will have a website where you can get it but why put more money into it when it's the stores fault?

My brother 2125I sewing machine bottom thread keeps breaking

You may be sewing too fast, using cheap thread or your tension is off. All of which can cause your bobbin thread to break.
