I keep getting a blank blue screen when I turn on my Mitsubishi 60 inch TV and then turns off by itself after about a minute. When I press "pip" on my TV remote I can see a small square screen where I can view programing and it stays on. There were no warning signs of this happening.

I still get a blank screen after replacing DLP chip and lamp. Any suggestions. Can you use cleaning duster to clean?

is the lamp turning on, if not then there may be a problem with the inverter board. or the bulb is faulty, bulbs can become faulty in transit.

TV screen goes blank but power stays on

Sounds like the CRTs are going into protective blanking due to the vertical output ic needing to be resolderd. Try resoldering the vertical IC that may possibly fix the issue.

No picture just sound

Your projection tubes are messed up. It's a very expensive fix, just get a working TV off craigslist with a smashed screen and reuse your screen itself (usually 100-200$) or just toss the TV and upgrade to an LCD

Mitsubishi VS-60603 60 inch Projection TV

You would have to completely take the Mirror out or Mylar backing and being careful not to damage anything, trying to move and reassemble when you get at the new location.
