Cracked screen hi i came across sombody saying u have a repair site on yahoo answers. i was wondering if you had a screen for a sansa e270 6GB mp3 player. mine cracked and i can't see anything on the screen, works fine, just can't see anything. i was wondering if i could get a screen to replace my old one with.

My best advice is to get a junk player from ebay or other source,one that has a good screen. There are only 4 screws that hold the screen on,once you remove the back. With a small phillips screwdriver and about 10 minutes you can replace the screen.
Hi you can get it fixed but the only place that do this is the makers as you cant take them apart you need special tools to do this and you cant buy them i know loads of people that have tried repairing these thamselves and end up destroying them so its not worth trying youl never get the cases off try going to sandisk site have a look on their site and get the customer support number or email give them a call or send them an email then they will tell you where their local repair center is to you its the only option you have but it will be cheaper than buying a new one so give them a call. Also depending on how long you have had it you might have some warranty left if not you will have to pay for repair but it can be fixed just might take few weeks for them to repair it as they repair thousands every week so contact them via their site ok let me know how you get on ok
