Replaced the black toner and the error light is flashing, the "K" indicator is on also. Can you help?

A 94x.xx TMC Error indicates that the printer has failed to detect the Toner Metering Cam for a specific cartridge. This error typically occurs when the cartridge or developer are misaligned or incorrectly seated

check the old cartridge was empty or it was just showing wrong indication.( flashing ).

All the ink tanks should be red with no flashing.
The tanks that are flashing or have no red light on , need to be replaced.

if the imaging drum has been replaced already, you may have to reset the counter for it. To reset its counter, press and hold the CANCEL button until all lights flash in sequence, after that, you may need to turn off and turn on the printer and test it again..

Flashing orange light, far right, indicates a paper jam. If you just replaced toner, check that the toner cartridge is installed properly.

If you have changed the toner cartridge, the printer must complete a calibration cycle (up to 150 seconds). If you open the door before the Ready indicator on the control panel lights up and the Error indicator turns off, the printer stops and repeats the calibration cycle.

1. Open the Status Display (double-click on Status Display icon in the system tray on the lower right-hand portion of the task bar, OR click Start/Programs/KONICA MINOLTA magicolor 2300W Utilities/KONICA MINOLTA magicolor 2300W Status), and then check which toner color is empty.
2. From the Print menu choose Toner Replace...
3. In the Color list box, select the color of the toner cartridge to be replaced (CYAN, MAGENTA, YELLOW, or BLACK).
4. Select the capacity of the new toner cartridge (1500 or 4500).
5. Click OK.
6. When the toner indicator on the control panel starts flashing, open the printer's front door. The carousel is automatically repositioned so that the appropriate toner cartridge can be removed.
7. Insert your thumb and index finger into the two holes in the front of the toner cartridge, and then pull the cartridge straight out about 6" (15 cm).
8. Support the middle of the cartridge with your left hand, and then pull out the cartridge.
9. Remove the new toner cartridge from its shipping carton.
10. Remove the protective cover clearly marked 'Remove'.

11. Support the middle of the cartridge with your left hand, insert the thumb and index finger of your right hand into the two holes in the front of the toner cartridge, and then insert the cartridge so that the guides on the cartridge fit into the rails in the cartridge compartment in the carousel.
12. Gently push the new toner cartridge into the printer.
13. Close the printer's front door.
The printer must complete a calibration cycle (up to 150 seconds) after any consumable has been replaced. If you open the door before the Ready indicator on the control panel lights up and the Error indicator turns off, the printer stops and repeats the calibration cycle.

1. First count the number of times the light on the front of your printer flashes.
2. Then refer to the table below for information about the error condition and recommended recovery procedures.
   
   Number of Flashes Error Condition Error Recovery 2 Carrier Stall:
   The movement of the print cartridge carrier has been obstructed. Remove any objects blocking the carrier path.
   4 Print Incomplete:
   The print cartridge carrier stopped in the middle of a print job due to obstruction. Remove any objects blocking the carrier path.
   12 Cartridge Short:
   The printer has detected a short circuit in a cartridge.
   1. Turn the printer off.
   2. Open the front cover.
   3. Turn the printer back on.
   4. Remove the color cartridge.
   5. Close the cover. If there are no flashing lights, the color cartridge is short-circuited.
   6. Remove the black cartridge and then reinsert the color cartridge.
   7. If there is no error indicated by flashing lights, the black cartridge is short-circuited.
   8. If you continue to receive an error indicated by flashing lights, both cartridges are short-circuited.

This happens to me every few months, I have to do a VERY detailed cleaning of all toner sensors. The knowledgebase on KM's website is actually very good about walking you through which sensors to clean and pictures indicating where they are located. This has fixed me up every time. GOOD LUCK!

If you turn off the printer and turn it back on, do you get any noises, ie motor noises, or does it instantly go to all lights flashing?
If you get no noises this usually indicates a board fault and you should look for a new printer.
