THis fuse is not exactly like the original, the original had resitor code values on it, anyways put it half way back together now I heard a click or either just the caps charging up, then connected the jack for the indicator lights, now I have a flashing yellow light on the lamp status LED, As far as I can recall this is the first time I have seen it flash before the fuse blew I know that the light was yellow/orange for about 5 months but never flashing or red, My question now is should I invest the $200 on a replacment lamp? Any advise guys?
I shouold clarify the noise I heard was definetely a relay closing not the sound of an electrical problem, I plugged it in still has the flashing yel/orange lamp status light. pressed the reset went back to the flashing lamp status light, no green pwr lights prestent no timer lights on either.I shouold clarify the noise I heard was definetely a relay closing not the sound of an electrical problem, I plugged it in still has the flashing yel/orange lamp status light. pressed the reset went back to the flashing lamp status light, no green pwr lights prestent no timer lights on either.
I have the same problem. The status light is just flashing as soon as I plug in the TV. Won't do anything else.I have the same problem. The status light is just flashing as soon as I plug in the TV. Won't do anything else.

which caps did you replace? As the normal repair for the first generation dlp is to replace the (4) 1000 uf caps. the (2) 2200 uf caps and the (2) 3300uf caps on the power pwb when you get the 34 error code.
Mitsubishi V26 error code 41 with solid red status indicator is caused by leakage from capacitors C9A37 and C9A38 (3300mf/16v). The result is a bad fuse F9A02 (15amp pico) which reports error code 41 indicating short protect. The Mits part number is 283P144040 but any PICO 15a fuse will work.

You should never increase the size of the fuse in anything because you can potentially cause a fire. Are you sure the original fuse was 10 amps? It sounds like if it is for a starter the fuse size should be substantially larger. Check the fuse panel just to make sure that the original was only 10 amps
Hello
Never put any fuse in it and switch ON. It has some short with internal circuit, and should be repaired before installing a new fuse. The fuse use is as a protection device to protect the other circuit parts from further damage. If you will put an other fuse, and switch it ON again, you are making things more worse than present. Find out the reason for buring out fuse. If you can do it by yourself. Otherwise get it repaired by any experienced service personal. Never make it irreparable. OK.
Sounds like your over half way there lol..
You now need to check the resistors positioned near the convergence ic's. They are your likely problem and go bad often when the ic's fail.
They are normally about 2watt and the values will vary but normally are like .10 ohms to 1 ohm.
I cant find a schematic to give you the exact values and locations but if these resistors measure off value at all you need to replace them with the exact value of the originals.
high voltage is down which is common to plasma tv realy not a fix for a consumer.but any way look in the x,y stainer board area for a bad fuse if so replace with the same type and value ( dont put a higher rated fuse like replaceing a 3.6 amp with a 10 amp fuse ) if fuse blows again replace sub board should be easy to find since there are generaly only 3 or 4 in the unit proberly take longer to remove the back the to locate these power supplies
this sounds like it may be a problem with the theft deterent system, measure the resitor in your key, go to radio shack and buy a resitor of the same or close to the same value, remove stering wheel, locate the yellow wires above the ignition lock cut wires install resitor. You will have disable the passlock system but the car should run after that
sounds like a headlight switch short let me know ok tellme whas up hey change the drl relay first dont buy onr go to the under hood fuse box look at the drl relay switch with same relay from diff spot let me know ok tell fixya bout me ok
could anyone tell me which pin is the airbag memory clear pin please? accidently pulled the main 100 amp fuse out when engine running and now have fault code 52 flashing.Thank you,David.
It sounds as if you have a component that has changed value enough in value to cause a high current draw, but has not completely shorted out. this phrase from you "so I did a stupid thing and bypassed the internal fuse and it turned on and worked" Not as stupid as you would think because it confirms what I said above, the 6.3 amp fuse tells me that the current draw normally is about 3 amperes since the normal rule of thumb is to double the value of the current to select the type of fuse. a five amp fuse should as well as a 4 amp fuse (it's best and recommended to use the exact fuse type). Now back to your issue. I would suspect that a transformer in the power chain has developed a shorted winding, or a capacitor begun to develop a short or excessive absorption.
I would suggest that you have the set looked at by a qualified TV technician.
I'm not sure how to help you with this one as the unit you describe does not match the one listed in the thread. You talk about a WTV1903 TV but a Sony KV-27S42 is listed. One thing is for sure no matter which model you have you should never exceed the manufacturers rating for the fuse (which is not meantioned). You stated that a 4 amp fuse (12V) blew so you put in a 5 amp. You never raise the fuse rating. Larger means more current draw and the possibility of a fire. First put the correct size fuse in. It should be listed on the circuit board or in your literature. If the picture is dark either the CRT is bad or the High Voltage or screen drive is low or both. The fact that it is blowing fuses indicates that something is not working properly. You need to check the CRT with a tester. If good, check the High Voltage for the correct value. If this is good you could have a partially shorted flyback. If you are not qualified to work on these circuits, (they are dangerous) have a qualified tech do it. Good luck and don't put larger fuses in in the future!

I have the same problem. The status light is just flashing as soon as I plug in the TV. Won't do anything else.
