Laptop running Windows7 previously mounted Nikon D70 (camera) as Mass Storage Device but, stopped recognising it. Camera sees laptop?

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Windows Photo Gallery or Nikon Transfer.

Cant download digital video from cam corder to dell studio laptop nothing happens tried other cameras and different firewire same stuff?

Go to the camcorder's manufacturer's support website and download the software compatible with your operating system.

Software needed to convert the video format to that of your computer can accept or play.

I plugged in a USB Webcam to my laptop which contains an integrated webcam. When I unplugged the USB webcam it switches back to integrated webcam but there is a message that says ''Close the other...

You can't have two video cameras in operation at the same time. Video cameras are known as "streaming devices" to the operating system.

You will need to go into your device manager and "DISABLE" the one camera you don't want to use in order for the other to work properly.

I just want to learn how to operate the dellweb camera installed in the frame of my Dell Inspiron 1525 Lap Top...thank you for your assistance... RRubio

There should be software to use the camera within your installed programs list.A friend has a Sony which the camera is operated from within "My Computer".You can always go on the Dell site and download the manual if you don't have one.
