Hey,

I beleave this is a safety feature, you are not supposed to watch dvds in the front seat while driveing,

it has been suggested that a possible solution would be to
For anyone wanting to play dvd's while driving...Wire the brake directly to the ground wire.

or

go to setup then push 543210and hold 0 then turn the brake override on

but generally watching dvds while driveing is not a good idea..

Good luck,
Ekse

It is set up so that you can't you have to do some things with the wiring I believe to get around it. It is technically illegal to do that. If you have any other questions or need further assistance let me know.
Thanks,
Lee

    1: Go into AM/FM mode
2: Hit "setup" on the remote control
3: Enter 543210 on the remote, listening for the beep for each number entered
4: A new menu will appear. Touch the button that has the hammer/screwdriver on it in the upper left-hand part of the screen.
5: Select Brake bypass to "ON" and hit the "X" near the bottom of the screen.
6: Use the unit wisely and above all safely. A ticket is one thing, causing a fatal accident due to negligence is another.
try that, it may unlock the unit permanently for you.
If you have a moment to accept and rate my solution I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks,
    Lee

Jensen uv8 and amp hook up

Remote wire from Jensen is blue or blue/white. Use Blu/white if there is one. . RCA's, for subs, use the rear if no subwoofer pre-outs are available. If unit has sub pre-uts, use them as the head ubit (stereo) would have a level that can be raised or lowered thus giving you more control over the input to the sub amp.

Uv8 some seakers dont work in dvd/cd mode

You have the wrong wire hooked up to turn on your amplifire. You used the blue wire but need to use the Blue/White wire!! That is an amp turn on wire Thje blue one is for a power antenna and goes dead when you put in a disc. The tweeters play because they are hooked direct to your Jensen. You'll be jamming in no time.

Uv8 problem!!!! please help

Ipod controls usually go to the cd changer input or auxiliary input. They might have just updated the the looks but usually the inside is the same, especially if they have the same model number. By the way you can get that ipod cable really cheap on ebay.
