Very loud final spin cycle with burning rubber smell

Model #MAH3000AWW
During wash cycles my front loader has been squeaking for some time. The final spin cycle has been getting louder. Yesterday I noticed a burning smell after the cycle finished - burning rubber??? Please give me some suggestions. New belt? New motor?
thanks

I have the same problem other than I don't have the burning smell as of yet.

The same thing happened to my Neptune today--in the last 4 minutes,
during the spin cycle, there washer moved around a lot and there was a
burning smell. I also learned just now about the class action
settlements, which I was never notified about in time to make a
claim. I have had other problems, too--the rubber gasket in the
door had to be replaced; the bleach function is not very effective.

During the last cycle I smelled burning rubber. It also squealed at the very end. I opened up the back and the belt was OK. Maybe it is the bearing.

There is no burning smell, but the spin cycle is getting louder and louder.  A loud "squeal" or "howl" is the best description.  Other than the noise everything works okay.

Samsung Front Load Washing Machine made a loud noise and smokes

Sounds like the main bearing has broken.
Time for a new one.

During the spin cycle it has started to squeak? it sounds like rubber, maybe the seal or the fan belt?

If it squeaks or spins slower than when it was new, and/or you smell something like burning rubber, it is probably the belt. You can replace it yourself if you look up the make and model number on the internet. There are free sites that will walk you though the process. free.

Loud clanking noise during spin cycle. Will not

If it is a front loader, then remove the rear panel, remove the belt, and soin drum by hand, if it feels rough, or is noisy and rumbling, then the main drum bearings have failed.
This is a major repair.

FRIGIDAIRE FWX435RHS - FINAL SPIN PROBLEM...............

Most likely cause is partial blockage in the pump or filter. refer to your manual for access to your pump filter..most manual's show you how to do this and is not a difficult procedure. Good idea to do this on a semi regular basis as front loaders do build up with lint in this area
