I have a yamato az6000 series industrial sewing machine and cannot find instructions on how to thread it. Is there are threading guide available. The 14 page booklet that I have found for the az6000h does not show threading.

  • cjratini Aug 17, 2011

Unfortunately that does not solve my problem. This machine is actually a serger/overlock machine. It is a three thread/one needle machine. It has an upper and lower looper which I may or may not have threaded correctly. The needle thread is one I have never encountered. The needle thread pulloff is different from any I've ever seen. It is yamato part #2100845 if you want to take a look at it. My parts on my machine are fine but this is the part of the machine that causing me real difficulties. I have no idea where the thread placement around this piece should be. I really need a picture or instructions on how to thread this machine.

    Thank you for trying.

Sorry, this does not help. The yamato az6000 is an industrial 3 thread, 1 needle overlock machine. Thanks for trying.

White Mighty Mender W100 Mini Sewing Machine. I am just trying to figure out how to actually use my Mighty Mender mini sewing machine, the W100.

To use the White Mighty Mender W100 Mini Sewing Machine, follow these steps:

1. Place the machine on a flat, stable surface.
2. Plug in the machine and turn it on.
3. Thread the machine by following the threading guide provided in the manual. Make sure to use the correct thread and needle for your project.
4. Place your fabric under the presser foot and lower the foot to hold the fabric in place.
5. Use the handwheel to lower the needle into the fabric at the starting point.
6. Press the foot pedal or use the start button to begin sewing.
7. Guide the fabric through the machine while sewing, keeping a steady pace.
8. When you reach the end of your seam, use the reverse lever (if available) to backstitch and secure the stitches.
9. Lift the presser foot and trim the thread.

For more detailed instructions, refer to the user manual that came with your Mighty Mender W100 Mini Sewing Machine. If you don't have the manual, you may be able to find one online by searching for "White Mighty Mender W100 manual" or contacting the manufacturer directly.

How to thread the singer 20u33? The tension assembly is new, don't know where the wire is sposed to be...

When you thread the top thread, the thread will drop down on the right side of the tension mechanism and go around the bottom (clockwise) and up the left side. Grab the thread somewhere above the tension mechanism with your right hand and then pull the toward the right (as though you are going to close the circle around the tension disk. The thread should pull on the metal wire (spring) and your thread should pop into the correct position of the tension disk. When you release the thread, the wire spring should pop back to the left. Then you will continue threading through the remaining thread guides and the take-up lever.

Here's a service manual for your machine (in case you need one):

I have a Mercury M141 industrial sewing machine and I am not sure which needles to use. Anyone have specifics? Also my thread shreds just before the needle, at the last thread guide?

You might ask about needles at your local sewing machine repair shop. As for the shredding thread, there is most likely a burr or a rough spot that is catching and fraying the thread. You might also try a different brand of thread. Avoid old or bargain bin variety.

I need a manual for a JCPenney Model 6601. Or at least how to thread it.

Back in my 7th grade home ec class (I'm 52 yo now), our teacher told us that all machines thread basically the same and I never forgot that and it has served me well through the years. No matter what brand of machine, or level of machine (from little girls first one, my embroidery or my heavy duty industrial leather machine) they have all threaded the same:
Thread spool
thread guide
thread guide
tension
take up lever
thread guide
thread guide
needle
(the number of thread guides may vary)
Best of luck and happy sewing!

How to thread Consew Industrial Sewing Machine 206RB

Every machine is a little different, but the basics are the same. Our 7th grade Home Eco. teacher taught us the first day...
"...Start at the thread spool, thread guide, thread guide, tension, take up lever, thread guide, thread guide, needle. Learn this and you can thread any sewing machine"

she was right, As this hold true for my kenmore, juki, singer and new home machines. Same basics for industrial machines too.

Hope this helps.

I am having trouble threading my singer industrial sewing machine I can't remember how

all machines thread the same. TTN tension, take up, needle.
Beginning with the spool, guide the thread through the thread guides to the tension assembly. Pull the thread through the tension assembly and test it to make sure the tension is working correctly.
(To do this test, adjust your tension setting to normal or medium or 5 or something in the middle. Raise the presser foot and pull the thread through the tension. It should pull easily!! Lower the presser foot and pull the thread. It should pull noticeably harder.) If it passes this test, continue up through the take up lever, then down through the thread guides to the needle. Make sure your needle is fully inserted and turned the correct way.Your Industrial machine has a long groove on one side of the needle. This long groove must be on the left side of the needle when it is inserted properly.

Industrial sewing machine top thread breaking

The brother DB 2 series of machines do not use a needle with a flat side. the needle system is DBX1 and are available from size 10 to size 20.
Try using the right needle for the machine and the right size for the thread you are using. this should make it better
